Training out of Kentucky’s Berea Barbell, Brandon Lilly is an elite powerlifter and the developer of The Cube method of strength training. Lilly is ranked sixteenth all-time in terms of total regardless of bodyweight and is one of only nineteen men ever to total over 2200 raw. In his debut lifting event in The Cage, Lilly has set his sights on pulling a raw deadlift of more than 800 lbs… Yet another freakish display of brute strength on deck at The Cage in 2013.

No doubt the atmosphere is ELECTRIC! Never had the pleasure of lifting in the Cage, but witnessed many and just watching you feel like you can hit a PR

I have heard from a powerlifter that liftin at a meet is nuthin like liftin in the CAGE... The CAGE is on a whole other planet. Youll see soon enough...
I am stoked to see this, I love the cage and stuff like this is exactly why man.

This might sound like a smart alecky answer, but big or small wut difference does it make? Would ya rather have sumthin mean very little to a lot of folks or sumthin mean a whole lot to a few folks? As long as people believe in wut Animal does and as long as Animal can give back to those same people, everything else is pure gravy...

I wuz talkin about my answer possibly comin off as smart alecky and not wut ya wrote brotha. I didnt wanna offend folks with my answer or sound too glib... I dont think being the "top dog" is the most important thing over at Corporate, as crazy as that may sound. Do they want to be the best at wut they do? Do they constantly strive to improve? Yup. And if that gets em to the top, great. But doing the best job they can, day in and day out... I think thats more important.

No worries. Now Ive read people mention that here and there recently... That Animal is really makin a move and gettin bigger. Sure course thats the case. Nobody wants to get smaller, haha. But just to get bigger for the sake of bigger... Dont know how much honor there is in that. Growth has to be tied to specific goals and specific reasons that benefit everyone from the company and the fans who support that company.

Very much agreed! Animal is such a badass brand that has never sold out, and to us fans and bros, the signing of all of the current athletes is like icing on the cake! Just further exemplifies the badassness of Animal solidifying it's place on top. Substance over hype.
