I recently had to rehab my shoulder and I'm sure many of you have or have had shoulder issues. Saw this article about doing Pull-aparts to keep them healthy.

i love band pull aparts. they definitely helped when my shoulder was a little fucked up. good article.

I do them in every training. In the beginning, middle etc. This is a good video by DeFranco

I also do them lying on the ground, so that the back of my shoulders are in contact with the ground all the time. Not PUSHING them down like crazy, but keeping good solid contact. Then like you would be benching, you take the band up in front you while you lay on the ground, and then pull apart. Maybe 10-20 times, depending how rigid the band is and how long you can keep the shoulders in contact with the ground. The shoulders must be in contact with the ground all the time. The further you go behind your head/over your forehead with the band, the harder it is.

This article helped me a lot ! I had a lot of pain in my shoulders. So I decided to do the movement in the article in my warm up routine and... No more pain ! Band pull aparts saved my shoulders !!
