Here's another slow cooker recipe I really like. For any of you crazy dudes who don't mind having to wipe your a$$ with a snow-cone, or having to freeze a pack of baby wipes, I included some things you can throw in to make it scream. I'd probably still make it the 2-3 ingredient way first and then you can always add something to it later. I don't usually make it super hot because then my wife wouldn't eat it. Wait... I think I've been going about that all wrong....
Ingredients:
-- 3-5 lbs of boneless, skinless chicken breast (thawed)
-- 1 bottle of Frank's Red Hot (you can use less of the bottle if you only use 3 lbs of chicken)
-- (OPTIONAL) 1 pkg of Hidden Valley dry ranch dressing mix (REALLY good)
Yeah... That's it!
Extras (to kick it up):
-- Sriracha
-- Diced jalapenos, or any other pepper
Directions
Spray slow cooker with non-stick spray. Place chicken on the bottom of the pot. Pour in all of the Frank's, and any extras you want. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours. About a half hour before you want to eat, take the chicken out and put it on a plate. Use two forks to shred it, then place it back in the slow cooker to soak up some sauce.
This is awesome in a sandwich, a wrap, or in a salad (if you're going no-/low-carb).
