Currently training for the 2013 IPA Strength Spectacular. Looking to hit the following numbers 700/535/565. I have not competed in 2 years and have spent very little time in gear over the past 2 years. I have really just guessed at these numbers, but I am pretty sure this should be good for me. I will be competing as a 242 Amateur. Over the next year I plan on being able to put a bit more on my total when I figure out the gear thing and make PRO. This is my journey.


I start my training week on Friday due to a hectic work schedule that has be going 24/7 working Safety in the Oilfield. I can get home at 5pm and get a call and be out not knowing when I get back home. Training is when I can get it in and has to be set to about 1 hour. My phone blows up during training also and I have to answer the call. Training has also been cut short where I had to bail and get into the field for injuries and other things.
