I am french powerlifter and sorry for my bad english
I lift in the WPC and my goal it's a blast everything competitors in my category

I have 18 year old and my bodyweight it's a 160 lbs

Hi i am started the 5/3/1 jim wendler routine and i've mix at the CAT routine because just i think that it is what i need for my powerlifting training

My guru coach think that the 5/3/1 it's a very bull shit for the powerlifting but i don't think i'am fucking they idea of shit of fucking guru coach and i am tested that it is good for me and my progress

Day 1 : Squat Day
Squat - 5/3/1
Paused Squat - CAT cycle
Leg curl - 5 set of x reps

Day 2 : Bench Day
Bench - 5/3/1
Paused Bench - CAT cycle
Bird machine - 5 set of x reps

Day 3 it's a rest Day

Day 4 : Deadlift Day
Deadlift - 5/3/1
Deficit Deadlift - CAT cycle
DB Row - 5 set of x reps

Day 5 : Military Day
Military - 5/3/1
CloseGrip Bench - 3 set of x reps
Chin-Up - 5 set of x reps


I've lift in conventionnal dead because the sumo deadlifting it's for two category of people : monkey men and homosexuel men, THE CONVENTIONNAL IT'S FOR THE REAL MAN !!!!!!!!!!

Sup man... Wendler 531 is a good program to start on powerlifting, I did it about 7 months without got the results I expected, but maybe 531 wasn't for me...
