In as well!

Thanks guys!!

...Well, I couldn't resist until tomorrow, and had to try it out... Flavor is GREAT! just like the other great grape flavors Universal puts out.
I took this with 4oz of water and actually could SIP (yes, sip) this. went down VERY smooth. felt the effects after a few, a little slower than usual, but I usually take the "Man-shot" dumping the powder directly into my mouth (tomorrows attempt)
needless to say, so far so good...

Not really sure how I feel about sipping Rage. But, then again, so far, my favorite is still the original orange.

Not really sure how I feel about sipping Rage. But, then again, so far, my favorite is still the original orange.

It is nice to know you CAN sip it!!

today:
Chest day (Rage XL assisted)
BB Bench: barx20, 135x12, 185x8, 225x4, 250x1, 265x1, 135x13
Incline BB: 135x10,7,7,8
DB Fly: 35x10, 40x10, 8
Done… Went with the “Man-Shot” today, flavor was pretty strong, but that is to be expected.
The effects hit me within a few minutes, just like the old version of Rage, but seemed like the “tingles” were more intense. Decided to hit chest, and see what I can do… well, I tied my max lift at 165, and felt pretty good about it. I think this formula/flavor is a keeper! I will be mixing the Rage in the water for the next few to see how different water amounts affect taste and response time.

good to have ya!

Arms today:
Machine preacher: 35x20, 45x20, 55x15
Tri pressdown: 60x20, 85x15, 100x12
DB curl: 20x20, 25x15, 30x10
Rev BB curl: 45x10, 55x10,10
DB extension: 65x10, 80x10, 6

Done…
Ok so I mixed Rage XL with 6oz of water, started feeling the effects within 5min. hit arms to see how it was for a pump. Results as follows:
Energy was great, felt focused and ready to hit it, The pump took a little longer to form than when I run Shock Therapy, I did get a pretty good pump in time, but the vascularity was not as pronounced as it gets with Shock Therapy, but I was ready to tear the place down.
Next Idea is to do the RageXL/Shock T stack….. Wish me luck!

All the p/w's I rotate go down in shots, Rage seems to go down easier with warm water for me anyways. So sipping and enjoying it will be something new. Good to hear the Grape is on point, wouldn't expect anything less tho. Can't wait to order mine and feel the affects!

Back work today:
Pullups: BWx12,15,12,12
Deads: 135x12, 225x10, 275x8, 325x2
BB bent rows: 135x12,10,8
Lat pulldowns, 80x12, 100x10,10 –Done with a 2ct hold at contraction.
Went fairly light today, saving myself for legs on Saturday, where I am going to see if the current workout routine I am doing has been any help for my max squat.

As for the Review of Rage XL:
Today I stacked Shock Therapy and Rage XL….. wow… I have done this with the old Rage, so I figured I would try it with the new
Energy: 11/10 I was dragging ass prior to my workout not after! But I did end up with a headache.
Pump was also off the chain, with just the light work my back felt HUGE!
Vascularity: again, awesome… I am not a very vascular guy, never have been, but my veins were popping in my arms better than my arm day yesterday.
So, in closing for today, not for the faint of heart, but in a pinch… it will light the fires!

here is my back after the workout RELAXED:

What's the reason for keeping it at 4oz? Taste or did you feel the 4oz hit you faster?

Also, have your forearms improved in grip or size with the Fat Gripz so far?

with 4oz of water it does seem to hit me faster, and the flavor is still good. The "Man-Shot" (pouring powder directly into my mouth and washing it down) I used to do, was becuse the flavor wasn't that great and the effects hit quicker. With the 4oz of water it hits quick and tastes good.

The Fat Gripz I have not used that often, because I injured my finger pretty bad awhile ago, and it hurt to use them... But today it went pretty well and fatigued my forearms nicely.

Ok, today I was dragging ass. I closed The Gym last night and had to open again this morning... not enough sleep.
My plan was to max out my squat (below parallel) today, sooo I went for it anyway.
Took Rage XL with 4oz water, and hit it. Felt let down today, the energy wasn't quite there, but I was able to reset my max for depth so it was a win. plus I have to remember I only was running on 4 1/2 hours of sleep.

I felt the same way yesterday (Friday). But today I took 1.5 scoops & felt great for legs (even on an empty stomach and @ 6:45am)! You might want to move the scoop up a little if you feel that way again...

OK, so I took 1.5 scoops of Rage XL today….. WOW, the arm workout was great today, I was able to power through and run with very little rest between sets. This was all done in around 50min.
Energy was out of sight and controlled, was able to push myself very hard, and pump… well, let’s just say, I measured my arms on Saturday at 15.75 inches…. At the end of my arm workout…..16.5

SLDL: 135x10, 185x12, 235x10

1 scoop in 5oz water... just about right. keeps me powered up nicely, not getting the old "tingles" but energy is still there.

Just playing around and doing some rep work... felt it the next day for sure!

Chest today:

DB flat press: Drop set 70->45.... ouch.

1 scoop Rage and on the way! this is definitely going to be a part of my supplement program, still like Shock Therapy more for pump and vascularity, but as far as when I need a kick in the ass.... well this is it.

Ok, a new twist on using Rage XL: Today I used 4oz hot water and slammed it back, taste dropped off some BUT the “tingles” were more profound. Energy hit me about the same. Going to have to try this again….

I did not use hot water this time, but I DID use hot water the day before, (didn't log anything because my workout didn't happen)
no hot water low "tingles"
W/ hot water higher "tingles"
the temp I am using is a little hotter than you can get out of the tap. like put it in the microwave for another 30sec, then add the scoop of Rage. the flavor falls off, but it seems to work better for me.

Feeling strong today, everything seemed to be firing on all cylinders.

Rage XL was spot on yet again, my buddy and I both took a shot and proceeded to tear it up... this is why I love Rage, when you need a kick in the ass (like AFTER shoveling snow for an hour) it brings you up to your A-game.

Nice workout and that's impressive after shoveling first!

On Sunday, I hit up Rage XL 15 min before the gym and while working out we had a crazy snow storm--8 inches in like 2 hours. Went home and cleaned everything up while still in my gym shorts and feeling good from Rage XL, lol.

Thanks J! Rage XL is a winner for sure, while the energy kick might not be as drastic out of the gate like the old version, the effects seem to be better in my opinion, the pump is a nice touch. Plus the lack of a crash makes this something I am going to keep on hand for those days where Shock Therapy just ain't gonna cut it!

Flavor: 9/10- The grape flavor is spot on, I like it a lot, and if I didn't get to try Mango it would have rated 10/10

Focus: The Rage XL really helped me dive into what I was doung, fatigue wasn't even an issue untill I was done with my set, I just wanted to keep "picking stuff up and putting it down."

Energy: Again, the energy levels were just about perfect for me, It wasn't enough to get me all jittery, but I could feel it hit, and then I wanted to rip the wheels off of things. There eas no crash afterwards, just like the old Rage, which is nice because when my workout is done, my day is still far from done.

Pump: While it isn't as good as my "ol' standby" Shock Therapy, the addition is a HUGE plus, in my opinion, to Rage. because, damnit, I like getting a good pump! haha

In closing: this is a keeper for sure. a good solid product, that, like all Universal/Animal products, meets or exceedes my expectations.
Should the old formula still hang around? I think the orange should still be in production, just because those who want a pre-workout WITHOUT creatine should have something, after all Rage was the only product I knew of that was strictly "kick-your-teeth-in" energy, and very little else.

Thanks Again:
Dan

Good final write up on Rage XL, DANO! I too love the pump I get from XL (although I prefer the pump from Animal Pump). I also agree that the original range should still be in production for those who don't want creatine but still wish to use an Animal/Universal pre-workout product.
