To keep to the point, basically I used to be fat as all fuck, now I'm seeing how far I can take my body and how far I can go in this sport.

My first show was in July 2013 at the Tim Garner NPC Extravaganza in Chicago. I wasn't at the level of conditioning I wanted, and I also had some big issues with my carb up, which ruined my look even more. But I learned a lot, and also realized I needed a lot of time before I did another show. Right now I'm taking offseason until about September when I will start prepping for the Midwest Iron Man in Chicago, which will be in November.

I'll expand on this log a lot more soon, but basically I'm doing High Carb, Moderate protein, low fat diet, and am around 4000 cal on most days.

I'm hovering around 218 at the moment, and have just been leaning out from my dreamer bulk phase I went on for a bit, but I plan to get back to grow season in the next couple weeks.

Training split:
Sun: Cardio/Chest/Abs
Mon: Legs
Tues: Cardio/Light Delts
Wed: Arms/Abs
Thurs: Cardio/Back/Calves
Fri: Shoulders
Sat: Off

I have been doing 3 days of 30ish minutes of cardio a week because I've noticed it really helps me with any big water retention or fat gain. It also allows me to eat a bit extra if I should feel the need with the wife or something.

Goals: Win the Iron Man, and get a NQ, then train and see where it gets me! Really looking forward to prep this time around, last time I wasn't happy with my coach and don't think that helped me with how I wound up coming in quality wise.
