Last heavy DL session for nationals. Pretty excited about this going into the meet, considering I was pretty beat up and feeling a wreck at the end if the training cycle. Hoping to hit 826 or more at the meet next Sunday.

Thanks!

I actually compete at 308, but typically weigh in around 285-290. Last meet I weighed in at 285.

Goals for this meet:
Squat - 733
Bench - 523
Deadlift - 826
Total - 2082

If i hit all my second attempts (which are numbers I pretty already hit in training), I'll hit over 2000 (705/501/804). Which if I don't, I'll be really disappointed.

Thanks man. Meet actually went very shitty lol. Tore my adductor, lower abdomen which caused a large hemotoma on my 2nd squat attempt. Have the vid on my YouTube channel, not real gruesome but you can see the pain on my face. So now it's rehab time and not squatting or DL for quite awhile.

sorry to hear that brother. if u go hard enough, long enough its bound to happen. those who dont suffer a serious injury are extremely fortunate. hope the re4hab goes well dude. keep us updated

Thanks man, appreciate it. This is my first major injury so I have been pretty lucky. I'll be logging my comeback in the journey section. It's gonna be rough not being able to squat or dl for awhile.

I'm really sorry man. Did the doctors give you any timeline on recovery?

Not a really finite one. Said 6-8 weeks until things are healed and start feeling normal again. As far as really being able to squat or DL, no clue. It's gonna be a process and I'm really going to have to ease back into it.

You've clearly got a strong base. I'll definitely be checking out your comeback log.
