I compete in the 165lb class in meets. I have one this coming June and after my last meet, I feel like I haven't been gaining any strength. I might have hit a plateau but I'm frustrated. Should I follow a program and which one? How many reps and sets should I stick to in training on the main lifts?
I've learned to not test in the gym but train and hardly ever Max out.

Help me out.

Thats a very broad question.
Yes, of course you should follow a program or plan.
Virtually any program done with consistency and intensity will yield some results to a novice lifter.
Higher reps farther out…lower reps as you taper towards the meet is a very general approach.

There are literally limitless ways to approach a meet… only two principles need to be upheld…SAID and Progression…..
I would suggest 2 things.
1) get a coach
2) fill out your weight class as far as weight goes.
