Hello Everyone,
I am going to be following the CUBE for the next ten weeks. I modified the program to be able to make a better fit for what I feel I need. The split that I will be following is below.

Monday – Squat
Tuesday – Bench
Wednesday – Rest
Thursday – Deadlift
Friday – Military Press
Saturday – Rest
Sunday – Rest

9 Weeks and 6 Days until my third Powerlifting meet. I've PRd every time I have competed in all lifts except for the Bench Press. In my last meet my bench press wouldn't budge even though I have hit that weight in training.im pretty sure I know what I know what I did that made that happen. My goal this time is to correct what happen last time with my bench, PR on all my other lifts, and total. Training starts tomorrow.

I decided to do something different today. 6 Sets of 185x3 and three sets of 215x3 (Red Sling Shot)

Incline Dumbbell Bench Press 8-12 Reps
60, 65, 70, 75 (I'm going to have to start at 75 next time. The other sets felt like Warmups)

Standing Dumbbell Row 8-12 Reps (I do this with two dumbbells)
40, 50, 60 (Starting at 60 next time)

Alright so here is what I did today. On both Squat sessions I did Interval Squats. This means that I did the prescribed amount of reps every 30 seconds or less. Which means that I completed eight sets in four minutes or less for the first exercise. And four sets in two minutes or less on the second exercise. This will increase my work capacity which leads to better recovery and stamina.

Explosive Squats at 60%x8x3
Warmup: 45x2x10, 155x5, 192.5x5
Work Set: 232.5x8x3

Reverse Band Squat at 80%x4x2
315x4x2

Front Squat (I am going to start heavier next time. I started out to light)

I think I did really well considering I did about 18 sets of squats yesterday. Now I know I can PR on my Deadlift for meet day. It might be premature to say this but I am shooting for a Deadlift of 512.43 or 517.94.

I may have slightly miscalculated how much weight was on the Leg Press last time. This was the actual weight used. Training felt great today even though my form was a little off.

Bench Press 5,5/6x2 at 65%(205Lbs+Red Rubber Banditz Band Held by two kettle bells under the bemch. It helped keep constant tensions throughout the whole motion)

Ive been combining Log Presses into my bodybuilding routines and they seem to be giving me a hell of alot of gains for all my lifts, especailly overall growth. Here is what I did today.

Olympic bar Warmup
45x10, 75x5, 95x5
Log Press
105x3, 125x1, 145x1, 165x1, 175x1 (First PR), 185x1 (Second PR)

Accessory Exercises were done with a rep range of 6-12.

Super Set Lateral Raise/Rear Delt Raise
(These were done with no rest in between sets)
5, 10, 15, 20, 25

Super Set Dumbbell Press/Standing Double Dumbbell Row
40, 50, 60

Super Set Pushdowns/Dumbbell Curls
(These were done with a rep range of 10-20)

185Lbs Log Press PR!!!!

When would you guys use lifting straps in your Deadlift Training? I see them used often by elite powerlifters but never understood why. I've only used them in my assistance work if I feel my grip is limiting my ability contract my muscle as hard as I can. Any help would be appreciated.

Warmups before weights included pushing a prowler and using a broom in a overhead position to stretch out my upperbody.

Warmup: 160x5, 200x5
Work Set: 260x6x2 (Every 30 seconds or less)

Reverse Band Pause Squat

Box Jumps (Postioned the box to be higher than belly button. Ill have to measure next time)

My Bench is getting band to and much stronger than it was before. I took overhead pressing out of my training before to see if it would have helped with my bench and it was a huge mistake that I am correcting right now. And the correction is working really well.

I haven't posted in a while and figured I would start with this. My meet on May 31 was awesome. My total was 547.5kg which is way above the numbers I thought I would hit. And they were all PRs which was even better.

Training is going great right now. My top set rep today beat last weeks and are exactly where I need them to be when I start training for my next meet in two weeks.

This was my first time training Deadlifts and Squats together. All the Deadlifts felt pretty light which is what you always want after a Deload. Squats felt good and consistent with speed. I did work up to a triple of 405 the week before but I didn't want to push it to far today because 385 for a triple felt heavier than usual.
