I've included so much more tricep volume in my training and the result has been good. Lying tricep extensions extensions,close grips,push downs etc.

Doing 100 -125 band extensions at the end of every workout has also helped my tricep mass.

The russians for years have done deficit deadlifts with 35 lb plates for decades.
The greaty Vasily Alexeev commonly performed them with great success.
