Hey,
I recently switched to sumo deadlift, wanted to give it a try.
i allways had the problem (even with conv dl) that the bar gets in front of me when i pull.
what assistance exercise could help and wich muscels i should strengthen ?

Could be a weakness in your thighs or posterior chain causing you to lean forward over the bar….

Could be something as simple as you are not actively engaging your lats and trying to keep the bar close. …i would bet my money on this one. So just try to engage your lats more and to keep them engaged during the lift.
