Taste
Chocolate Chocolate Chip – Fantastic flavored product from start to finish. The Chocolate flavor is similar to the base Chocolate flavored offered in Animal Whey. The difference is you get added chocolate chip pieces. The Chocolate Chips are similar to the cookie pieces in the Cookies and Cream. Dense, provide a nice texture, and are also abundant in amount. If you are a chocolate chip fan, or enjoy a heavy chocolate flavor this is right up your alley as something you will enjoy. The one difference from the original chocolate I noted is it has a swiss chocolate based flavor.

Mixability
Usually I mix 6oz of yogurt with 1 scoop of whey as my base (I enjoy making a protein pudding) and it mixed with ease. There are little chunks of the chocolate chips from the batter, but that is to be given due to the complex and nature of how the whey is formulated. I also used this whey to make a protein shake in 6oz almond milk. There were no problems with Mixability at all, in a blender bullet it started to mix on its own before being turned on.

Per Scoop:
1 G Fat
4g Carbs
1g Fiber
25g Protein
A nice blend of WPI and WPC, Cookie Bits (which I am assuming are the chocolate chip addition to the whey protein powder), Touch of Cocoa for flavor, and some people may be turned down by the hydrogenated Vegetable Oil (as some stay away from anything hydrogenated in general). Cellulose and Xanthan will help enhance the thickness of the flavor in the formula, and Animal Whey also includes a digestive blend (which I really enjoy) to help those who may suffer from any lactose problems or just an overall digestion aid, which never hurts. I also enjoy this is flavored with Sucralose instead of aspartame.
Cost
28.99 / 2lb
47.99 / 4lb
The amount is identical to most protein powders on the market with around 10$/lb or raw materials to make up protein. With that said the overall caloric makeup (being around 120 calories) is a good amount and on the lower side than some out there. Not to mention for how easily this mixes up, and how it tastes this is a very quality protein powder. No question after trying this out it would be worth an investment for another flavor in Chocolate, Vanilla, or Cookies and Cream (the other three flavors out right now).
