2015 LETR Plane Pull (Chicago) 9-19-15

Once again this year I will be leading a team in the LETR Plane Pull at O'Hare Airport on Saturday September 19th, which benefits Special Olympics Illinois.

If you're not familiar, the event consists of a team of 20 people using a rope to pull a plane for 12 feet. The team with the best time wins. It's a hell of a lot of fun, and it's for a great cause. Check out the event website for more information: http://www.soill.org/event/plane-pull/

Don't know if I can make it yet, but fellas this is an awesome event. Doesn't sound like it on the surface, but once you see that 97 ton plane staring you down on the tarmac, it's a different game. It's also a huge family event. Hell, last time I did it I drove 4 hours to O'Hare, pulled the plane and drove 4 hours back home. It was worth it. There's also oppertunity to pull on other teams that are short members so you could do it several times if you want. Usually the guys try to have a mini ABC in the area after too.
