If I could just get a shirt that fits all would be good. i believe they are making me another one now, hope to have it within the week.
if Inzer didn't take care of me so well i would be screwed.

Yeah, I was wondering about that. You didn't touch it to your chest, is that because of the shirt? I know this powerlifter at my gym who had the same problem when he got a new bench shirt, he had trouble getting it to touch.

actually the shirt lost all of its support right there and i stopped it before i passed the point of no return. I just had to muscle it up with no "pop" from the shirt. in a shirt that fits it should be hard to touch but if you know what you're doin you can work around it and force it.
bench shirts are hard to explain to the average person, and there are so many different varieties that all work completely different from one another.
You don't just put one on and start benching huge weight, most beginners will actually LOSE pounds on their bench because they don't know how to use a shirt. it is a science that takes time to perfect.

My Lord! I was just hoping the bar wasnt gonna bend in half on ya! NICE!!!!
Hey, BTW...I liked how you would get yourself all situated on the bench there...the first vid, I thought you were gonna slide off the other end, toward your main spotter. I was thinking dam, that was cool too! LOL...NICE LIFTS....very impressive!

Thats pretty typical in powerlifting, a setup like that is helpful to gain an arch and to dig your scapula and feet in properly. You have much to learn young one. Haha, I'd teach you if you lived in Canada.

Thanks for the compliments Toni, But i am not even close to where i want to be right now, but that should improve over the next couple of weeks. I have a training meet coming up at the end of April to gauge where all of my lifts are in preparation for Worlds. Just gotta keep from breaking body parts lol.
Big Jawn hit it right on the head. I slide back to get my hips as far back on the bench as possible and then plant my feet and hips while folding myself unttil my eyes are directly under the bar and then plant my shoulders to the bench. Doing this provides optimum leverage and shortens the distance the bar must travel.
