Was thinking of changing my training routine once the knee is fully recovered to follow Ed Coan's methods. Was wondering if anyone here has tried his methods and what they think about them. I probably won't start this for about 3-4 weeks because of the knee.

Thanks

Coan was a god amongst men in the world of PL. Pound for pound, he was probably one of the greatest powerlifters of all time.

His methods and periodzations were very intense, and because of his sick genentics, were what he needed to stimulate the gains that he had. If you are planning on pursuing one of his regimens, I strongly suggest that you carfully check the intensity, and not implement too hard at first; they do work (obviously), but you must remember who (or maybe what is a better term....lol) developed them and utilized them.

Best of luck, and let us know how it turns out....

Eddy is a good friend of mine, he recently hit a 680x5 squat with no belt, totally raw, ass to calves, and is primed to hit 800 raw in two weeks. His methods work for all that have tried it. I modeled my most successful DL routine after his methods. You cant go wrong with his simple yet effective methods. I agree with J, he is THE best ever.

i will be starting this is 4 four weeks, since i have 3 weeks left on my current routine. i feel this change in intensity will help get me over some rough spots that i have had on my current routine which i have been on since may 06.
