View Full Version : READ THIS!!!! It's A Disgrace!
I understand the FORUM and I respect Animal/Universal, but do you not think it is unfair to disregard those other companies with decent products out there. If you do, then this new FORUM is a disgrace where people can't express their honest opinions. They are just here to promote Universal and thats wrong. I thought this was a Bodybuilding FORUM where people can come for advice regardless of what they are talking about and not a Universal advertising/publicity stunt to publisize Animal. It's fine when somebody disses other companies but the Poll or thread that I created earlier is shut down because I gave another companys' supp a good review?
All I wanted to do was make these lifters like myself aware, as a bodybuilding community, of another product that works well.
Surely, you guys don't have your heads that far up your asses. No offence. I love Animal too. But we gotta make people aware of others opinions. It's biased to think Universal is the ONLY supplements company out there. It's sorta sad to think that a bunch of guys come in here to talk about Animal products and Animal products ONLY!!
Come on Universal, don't turn people against you.
Each to their own, but wouldn't you think if other supps/companies were discussed freely, this would be just another bodybuilding.com style forum?
Its like a music forum, you dont see many threads/posts about other artists apart from the one whos site it is.

hmm not sure I 100% agree with you on that. While this is a body building forum, it's also a company/business board and I'd expect it to be treated as such.
IMHO the very most Universal should do is another section of the board for outside products and all topics related to outside products be sent/posted there. After all, they aren't in the business of sending customers to other companies.
Look at it from a business point of view and I'm sure you'll understand.

This is animalpak message board. There are other boards where you can talk about all supplements freely.

I can't say I know why your thread was shut down, but I have to disagree with your opinion that AnimalPak.com is a publicity stunt for Universal products. I've read tons of articles on this website, and a lot of the writers here advocate the use of other supplements in their own workouts. Personally, I use Universal products almost exclusivley, simply because after trying so many different products, I've found the Animal line, and other Universal products, to work the best for me. Peace out.

Exactly, and trust me DarrenG I've thought about discussing or asking about other supplements here but then I realized something.. 90% of my supplements are pure ANIMAL so why ask about something else when you can just ask about that other stuff on forums like bodybuilding.com? A more general site..
AND ANOTHER THING.. why do you feel to be pompous and post this up 6 times??? Do it once to get your point across don't be a maurder about it..becuase believe me the Watchmen here are not gonna stand for that crap.

I agree with sixblack, although this is a bodybuilding forum its still a company website bro. It may even be a certain regulation animal has to follow. This forum still is a great one with tips and opportunities to talk to some of the best in the game and if theres a simple little regulation like that, that you cannot handle theres no one forcing ya on here man.
Animal has awesome products, the best! There are hundreds of companies out there that are good as well, but that doesn't matter. If you use other companies products-good for you, keep it to yourself. This Forum is on Animal Pak.com- Let's discuss Animal Pak products, Not other companies products.

Dude, gear down! You don't have to post the same message over and over again..we are not children here...we got your point and although I and everyone else understand your point, you have to understand that this a site for serious lifters and being its promoted by Universal, from a business perspective, we are all assuming we all primarily rely on the quality and reputation Universal products provide..therefore this site is dedicated to them and our bodybuilding experiences.
Of course its safe to say that we all try and use or have used various products...but none us would go ahead and try and promote them here...if that's the type of forum your looking for, go to bodybuilding.com's forums.
Yeah there a lot of good supplement companies out there and a lot of bad ones as well...Me personally, Universal has quality products at affordable prices and they been around for a while...A good reputation is everything! I like to stick with what works best for me...
Thanks for everyones input. I love Animal Supps also, it was just the hostility from the Watchmen and the shutting down of a thread because i wanted to create a poll where everybody voted about who they though was the best company. I knew Universal would win though (being a Universal website and all).

However, I will say this. As much as I love Universal, their products are not backed by scientific research and it's impossible to use ONLY Animal supps in your bodybuilding programme because not 1 company makes the best Protein product and creatine product and Test product and Ecdy product and Methoxy product and Vitamin product. Understand? All I'm saying is, 1 company may produce the best whey for example. Another might produce the best Vitamin. Not all the best products in every supp catagory are produced by Animal.
My opinion of the best Supps in each catogory are:
Protein : Optimum 100% Whey
N.O : BSN N.O X-Plode
Creatine: BSN Cellmass
Vitamin: Animal Pak
Test: Jungle Warfare
Ecdy: Gaspari Halodrol
Other: X-Factor
Methoxy: Animal M.Stak (Although MethoxyFlavone has not been scientifically proven to work)
You see? Animal doesn't make the best of everything. Other companies products are backed by Science/uder development for ten years or are created by William Llewelyn ( a scientist who makes actual steroid alternatives) so they MUST work. Animal products are not so they only work on a say 1 out of every 3 people ratio.
The point of this post was that I wanted to say....WHAT IS THE POINT COMING IN HERE IF, AS A BODYBUILDER WHO IS LOOKING TO IMPROVE YOURSELF AND LOOKING FOR THE BEST ADVICE (SUPPS OR OTHERWISE) YOU ARE NOT GOING TO RECIEVE IT BECAUSE THIS WEBSITE IS TOTALLY BIASED.
DarrenG don’t stress so much with the internet, calm down, relax and reflex a little.. This is a Animal/Universal forum, ask for “what is the best company” in a Universal Nutrition forum it’s insane.
Everybody is entitled to a opinion, we don’t have for sure a bunch of hypocrites here, saying “yes animal its awesome etc..” if they think the opposite. We are here to receive good and bad feedbacks about Universal/Animal products respecting them all. We are naturally here to advice about our products, but for sure, you can talk about other products that you are staking with Universal/Animal ones.. But avoid starting threads like that you had start..

Hey Darren, one of our guiding principles at Animal and Animalpak.com is to serve and to provide knowledge--to create a community for all lifters who are dedicated to iron--and to do it freely without cost.
Having said that, no, we don't think it's unfair to "disregard" other companies. This is an Animal forum and all that the name "Animal" stands for.
We have reps on other forums. We do not promote our competitors there, which is obvious. But at the same time, we never criticize or bad mouth them either. We will not change that practice here. While it's inevitable that products other than ours may be mentioned here from time to time, we will never "diss" them. At the same time, we will not allow this forum to become a place where we promote them either.
If ya really want to discuss other products there are many other supplement forums on the web that allow this... shoot me a pm if ya need more info.
