Weigh yourself, then weigh yourself again with the bar in your hands. Simply subtract the difference.

My bars all weighed different. My York curl bar weighed 20, the Cap curl bar weighed 17, and the Cap Super curl bar weighed 15.
Interestingly, my York French bar weighed 25, so the bearings in the sleeve probably have a lot to do with gross weight.

The 1" bar with screw on collars that I have weighs 20 lbs. The usual bar that holds starndard Olympic diameter weights is usually about 25 lbs.
