i occasionally play a game or 2 of basketball a week for a bout an hour of to and if i play for more i stop to eat every two minutes...will this hurt my physic in any way...im on a diet anyways and resting and lifting appropriotly...is this still a good this to due since i also train to become a fireman...please help...thanx

Basketball is great cardio...but i quite playing cause it's too easy to get hurt..you can turn a ankle in a heartbeat.....in school if the track coach caught you he would toss your ass of the team....be carefull bro..

you should be fine in regards to your physique, however it is important that you should be getting a decent amount of glucose into your body at this period. after basketball your body is hypoglycemic and that is why you are getting very hungry after only 2 hours of ball. consider making changes to your pre-game diet to avoid this issue. also, make sure that the basketball game is intense enough, i have a couple friends of my own who are becoming firefighters and they emphasize cardio in the workouts.
