Well guys I have never done anything like this before the whole online thing. I have put my own little work effort into some of the threads online. Well a little about me. I was first exposed to bodybuilding mainly thru Pro Wrestling. Which I used to watch when I was young. Well than I joined the Marine Corps but I never really got IT if you know what I mean. Every time I would get anywhere I would see some fat and go nuts then diet diet and diet some more. I usually didn’t go over 180 and at 6’2 can you say bean pole. So over the past year I have been ready and willing to get some size and eat some iron. So ill try and keep this log as entertaining as possible and as always can use some feedback cant we all well brothers here it is. The start of the new beginning.
Today was also the start of new work out plan was getting stale in my old one it went like this.
Incline bench 115x10 135x8 145x6 155x6
flat bench 135x10 155x8 155x6 175x6
machine flys 70x12 100x10 140x8
Donkey Calf raises 240x20 240x15 260x15 260x12
then abs that was leg raises 4setsx20
rope crunches 4 setsx20

Ya I forgot to mention that since i been home my diet consist of hmm everything I can get my big Polish hands on. I have gaining over 26 pounds since i been home from iraq not all of it good weight but hey what the fuck right! there is always cardio
Well I wanted to hit up on some of my supplements right now just in case anyone wants to know I got M-stak have had good experience with it then there is NT-1, Pump, and one muslcetech luekic that my boy recommended dont really see anything and i had some extra money from Christmas so I thought I would give it a go but like I said I dont really see anything with it. Then there is the good old nitro G gotta have it and of course the AnimalPak

ok guys today is a day off since i have to run 6 miles then its legs after that maybe around lunch time. I hope well you know work somtimes it never works out the way you want well bothers ill keep ya up to date. peace

Alright here is a question? What the hell kind of markting departmants do some of these other people have. My main rant here is have you ever looked at some of the other people serving size 1 tablet then directions say take 4 to 5 twice daily or some shit like that. That is one of many reasons I love animal hello everything you need in one pack. Anyone with me.

yeah i like the packs for that reason, i cant exactly walk around with bottles of supps in my cargo pockets and I am rarely anywhere I can store the bottles, so I would end up missing a serving during the day. with the packs I take one in the am and then the rest when I come back from downrange.
I saw earlier what you said about taking it easy due to running, my 1SG has been on a running kick for the past 3-4 weeks so I have had to almost stop doing legs in the gym. He is supposed to pcs soon, so hopefully i can get back to my squats before i get the skinny little runners' legs.

I hear ya, man. You have GOT to be careful when looking at sups and shit. What looks like a good deal at first glance becomes bullshit when you get it home and see the "take 4 or 5 at a time." My wife just bought a bottle of prenatal vitamins that had almost twice as many pills as the others in the same price range, and for only a few bucks more. She brought it home and read the directions: take twice a day. She was not impressed.

This is doubly frustrating for me, because the only thing I hate more than the thought of choking down creatine powder is having to add another 15 pills to my daily regimen. Garbage.

I love the feedback on bullshit these damn company well brothers that is why i love animal and universal they are awsome. well was suppose to hit up legs today but some peeps are getting back from iraq tonight and no time for the gym how fun the onlything i hate about the military sometimes you just dont have the time. ill have to make up legs a later day i hate that shit but it has to be done peace guys

alright was going to hit the gym today but again was fooled by the MAN!! Had to work really late so started looking into a home gym i have some weights and i found a bad ass bench for like 135 so i can lift at home it has a preacher curl attachement and i think a lat pulldown attachment if i remember correctly. Well tommorw is a 10 mile hike and i have a blister the size of Miami on my foot already so that should be fun and exciting to see how this turns out. well guys again like i said i will try to keep this thread fun and entertaining. anyone who stops by say whats up and oh ya. I am a huge wrestling fan so if you want to talk about that or bb im down peace.

Alright guys today we were suppose to do a 6 mile hike and we got lost yay. so we went farther than that. then my stupid ass forgets my ID card at work and of course cant go to the gyms on base with out it what the hell is the country coming to cant go to the gym with out a id card blah blah anyway i have to go get the damn card from my boy this weekend so i can keep on training. alright guys peace.

Ok guys like I said yesterday I left work early and forgot my ID card so I cant hit the gyms on base. So back to basics i guess. Ok today was nothing but good old military work. ok ill try to explain some of these if you guys dont know. i did 2 cycles of these
10,10,and 10 what these are pushups one set wide one set normal one set diamond pushups.
then did some chain breakers this is kind of a dynamic stretch for chest. you start with your arms straight ahead of you then you pull backwards repaditly for a stretch you do a bout 20 of these. then its time for for shoulder circles these are done 20 each way sides front and above the head. then its time for neck rotations this is not as good as shrugs or the machine but hey whatever. just kind of hang off the couch let you neck hang off and flex your neck and up and down side to side. then its ab time 30 crunches then 30 crunches with legs all the way up then 30 leg lifts then 30 flutter kicks. then i do 20 squats then squat jumps. this is what i could so not as good as lifting but hey this is what you gotta do when you dont have any thing else at least you keep moving. the other thing i love about the weekends i usaly go crazy for food. today so far i ate 2 packs of oatmeal and 7 eggs then about 2 hours later went to IHOP with the wife had a steak omelets. and 3 harvest grain and nut pancakes. well i think its time for a nap then more food.

Have you ever walked into the gym and seen that guy. The guy that is pretty much just like you. He is hungry he wants to lift. He even might give you the head nod when you see him from time to time. These are the Animals just like you and me. There is one guy in my gym has a t-shirt he wears almost all the time some high school power lifting team shirt. That is one strong mofo. Never talked to the guy in my life, but every time i come in he gives me the head nod. He knows. Then of course you have your pussy ass mothers in there. Or your just plain misguided soul. You know the one. The guy who cant decided if he wants to tone or maybe a couple of pounds of muscle. Since this guys is usually confused he like the other fitness ***s take up space and time. Have you ever had all eyes on you in the gym. Not really to much for me the only time so far is when I was shrugging. 335, then half the kids in the gym looked at me then after i got off the machine bam one kid tried like 225 and damn near dropped the bar and almost fell over. I seriously think to myself what the fuck dude. It took me over a year to get to that weight dont just jump up and try some shit you cant ever lift from the bench or whatever your trying to lift oh well that is my crazy talk for the day peace

Alright its time to hit the sack for this wonderful Sunday of not doing to much of anything. Well tomorrow is chest day. I love that day I hope I can put up some bigger numbers than last week only time will tell if that is going to happen. Sometimes I look at Big G Diesel numbers and im like damnit. but I know he has had alot of years in the game and im only a beginner mostly but time and dedication will pay off in the end well brothers ill keep ya up date and see if i can pull out some major beastmode in the gym tomorrow

Ok chest day. went something like this
incline bench 115x10 135x8 155x6 165x6
benchpress 135x10 155x8 155x6 165x4
machine flys 90x12 120x10 160x8
then abs i did 4x20 leg raises
then 4x20 crunches.
my bench seems to be hurting this week hmm dont know about that. Probably didnt get enough water today i know that affects alot.

Alright today was day off from the gym but hit up 40min of cardio hello treadmill!! man my legs feel like rubberbands i hate cardio but oh well has to be done esp since im carrying a little extra around the middle but hey that happens when you eat pretty much anything in your way.

So today I hit the gym a little later than normal wow i think all the animals come out at night over here. I dont think i have seen the big dudes in a long time not the im the baddest guy around but you know the guys im talking about. So do when do you animals like to train. For me its usaly around 6-7 pm. I try not to get in to much later than 7 that usaly throws off my timing.

Alright guys had duty which is pretty much sitting at the barracks and make sure noone does anything stupid. so that set me back a couple of days training. i thought i was going to use a 5 day split but i think im going to go back to a 4 day plan just seems better suited for me. So last night i read a book i read along time ago. its called Mind and Muscle it talks alot about focus and mental excerisces to boost motovation. its a well written book well guys if you ever get a chance pick it up.

Hey mgmmaze, I'm enjoying reading your various rants :)

Duty and irregular hours suck, cause you can't train when you want to. For me I train depending on what shift I'm on. I always work 6 days, then am 4 days off. 2 morning shifts, 2 afternoon shifts and 2 night shifts. Yeah, it varies a bit too much sometimes.

I'm glad I can keep some of the readers entertained its part of my personality. its what I do. Have always been the class clown sort of guy. So tommorw im going to start up a 4 day plan again and we will see how this goes i had some awsome results from it before so hey stick with what has worked.

alright guys this week has been a killer for me they make us PT twice a day now. since we have a bunch of guys that cant seem to run or do pull ups for shit we run twice a day now.I used to lift during lunch but now have to run for the second time at that time. it really took it out of me this week. so today is shoulders ill hit those up after a little breakfast time. will get back to you guys peace.

Well like I said earlier today is shoulders. Ya didnt go so good. i started with some seated shoulder press with the barbell 95x10 95x8 115x6
then some side rasies on the second set of my side rasies i got this extreme pain in my left wrist. I tried to tighted my wrist straps as much as possible but it was killing me i almost dropped the weights 3 times. but what i did was 15x12 20x8 20x6. So i figured i move on to something i can keep my wrist straight and that was shrugs.
did some barbell shurg they went like this. 225x8 225x8 275x7. I usaly do triceps today but i didnt want to risk anymore of an injury if there is one to my wrist so im off to ice it and take some aleve. well brothers it about sucks when shit like this happens. I feel like i let myself down and you guys down by not being able to put forth 100 percent well we will see next time.

So guys today i went to the Doc's have a strained wrist and a strained hamstring so i have to take it easy I HATE THIS SHIT!!!. sitting around pretty much can do abs yay. well thats about it i might try and hit up a light session of back tommrow we will see how that goes. Peace.

Alright guys if you have been reading this. You know that i sprained my wrist and strained my hamstring how fucking yay. Well still got told to be laxed and not do shit till at least sunday. Well i keep reading this website and im so fucking amped to work out. My wife told me if i keep talking about working out to her she is going to beat me with the frying pan oh well. Well ill update you guys as soon as im back in the gym and it will be with a vengance. have to strart building muscle. Losing time in the gym see ya guys later peace.

well guys tommorw is the day surgery well after that ill fill you guys in from time to time on the recovery peace brothers. and I'm sure the weights will be worried when i get back haha just kidding ill probably lose alot of strength but hey its all good what has to be done has to be done peace brothers.

So I had the surgery yesterday. It went well. They gave me some morphine yes so i didnt feel shit for a while. But so far so good its the next morining and i dont have to much pain. The most pain inthe ass thing is i have to sleep with my head elavated and im really not used to that at all. Then mostly after that it only hurts when i have to swollow or anything like that. well I'll keep you guys updated and since it was pay day yesterday i think im going to order Animal chest dvd. i havent had any extra cash but taxes came in yes. well brothers peace.

Well guys I'm 5 days post op. Man this is starting to take its toll on me. I know i need to sleeep to heal but I cant seem to sleep more than like 3 hours at a time. I am taking in protien shakes to maintain some muscle mass. I deftinaly feel the weight loss coming on. I am starting to feel soft from not being able to hit the weights the only good thing about this is. That I will not have had any supplments for about 2 weeks so my body will be free and clear for when i start taking them again. well guys sorry this log isnt to exciting right now but hey it happnes to the best of us. Something tells me with your drive and dedication here on this forum she may be your worst enemy soon. (Kidding sort of) Like anything bro, take it in strides because I expect you to make this part of your entire life not just part of it for a few years and burn out. Realize your Wife; while maybe now is concerned with this whole new you thing, you should ease her into it so we don't have to find out later you got in a major fight over it. Welcome to your new home.

Thanks brothers on the advice. Today was hell i had to go to the ER cause of these damn stiches in my throat and they gave me "stronger" pain killers they dont even work. oh well. As for the gym its always been there but only really in the last year have i exploded and really started to be intense. As for the wife ya i try to ease her in but she just doesnt get it as much as i would like. And i have even tried to get her to go. One time she told me she didnt like my Lifter face and never went again. SO ya again thanks guys and ill see you in the weight room Peace

Well guys quick update on me. I’m 8 days post op. I feel horrible I am taking my percacets like every 3 hours. I sleep like 2 hours at a time and them im awake. I dont have a clue how much but i have lost weight. Yesterday I tried on one of my jeans i haven’t been able to fit into for a while and ya they fit. Hmm what else the doc said this is the period that is the worst. She said it would probably last a few more days then i should start to get better. Well bros I been watching your journals keep up the good work. Ill be back in there soon peace brothers.

Alright brothers. I would like to say thanks to everyone who has stopped by and wished me a speedy recovery. Today I work up feeling somewhat fine. Which is way better than i have been the last week or so. I finally am starting to have an appetite again which is great still cant eat alot but, i am finally able to eat a little more than soup and shakes. I actually ate a couple slices of pizza yesterday. So I'm def not 100 percent but I'm starting to feel alot better. I hope by next week i get the clearance to hit the gym and get back to the weights. I think its been a good time off in the beginning i wanted to hit the gym so bad then i finally relaxed and just let it heal. even though i was popping percacets every 3 hours or so. the worst pain of my life but hey its for the better well again thanks brothers for all the best wishes. I have been reading all of your forums and pretty much working on my focus training. so what way i can stay focused when i get back in there well that all from me today hope goes well brothers and one more thing i cant wait for this product M that shit sounds so awesome. I cant wait till it comes out. peace

Ok I know I haven’t posted a work out this kind of has been my outlet of frustration the last couple of weeks. And here is some more I have called the doc 3 days in a row. To see if I can get back into the gym by next week. They still haven’t called me back every time I call oh the doc is either not in or talking to a patient. I'm fucking furious. Anyway on anther note it doesn’t help that I have been watching some bodybuilding vids on youtube and then I also been watching vids of one of my fav wrestlers Chris Benoit. That guy I think is one of the most intense mofos around. Well that it for me and my ranting for today well brothers im chomping at the bit to get back in the gym. I'm hoping by Monday I can get in there.

Alright guys been moving but i have been cleared to workout at my own pace. So that means in the begining im going to have to take it slow it has been a month since really doing anything. so Tuesday is usaly the beginning of my workout week. Also i still have to find all my supps they are still packed up. ill fill you guys in tuesday peace

Alright first day back to the gym went like this
lat pulldown 120x8 for 4 sets
barbell rows 135x8 for 3 sets
cable row 130x8 for 3 sets
close grip pulldown 130x6 for 3 sets.
I know its not alot but havent lifted in over a month so takin it slow.

Well guys if you have seen they Pinned my supplment log. I won it back in febuary so you can check up on me there or here. When that log is over ill continue on here where i have been with you guys for a while. One thing i have noticed over the past couple of months. Is everyone tries to write about there past its fucking awsome to me. Lets us know what drives you and makes you who you are. In fact i think some people on here maybe me sometimes. Seem to try and outwrite other people not with quanity but with quality. I like that to its almost like a comptition to become a creative writer. Now i know im no where near the prowress of people like G or Machine. But I think looking thru this forum. It has inspired me to write more than I think i have in a long time. ALso this week is my first week back in th gym. Man i feel weak but that will pass it has been a month. So like i said ill keep both logs going. and ill try and keep you guys on the edge of your seats. Just kidding. well brothers thats it from me peace.

Chris Benoit recently passed away, god bless his soul and his family, R.I.P. you will be missed.
