I will be using this as a training meet in preparation for the IPA Worlds in June.
Also many of the lifters from our team will also be using this for a warm-up to Worlds.

Bumping this. All you powerlifters nearby may want to consider doing this meet. Now that Westside has officially left the WPO/APF, expect many to follow suit and changes are in place to make the IPA a better federation to lift in!

Did WSB ban all their guys from lifting at APF meets... Or are they boycotting the WPO/APF?

The APF is owned by KK, so I would "assume" that it covers all of them.
I will have to do some more research.

i know that there is only one other meet on the list but i was wondering if - besides the worlds powerfreak- and kathy- if your hoping to hit any other "local" meets? be great to see you in action live.

Right now we are both going to lift at Powerpalooza on the 22nd of this month.

wel my meet that was on the 22nd, just got bumped to the 21st... so i might just be able to make it out.. i hope to get out and meet you two and some others or your crazy team. if idont good luck in your "warm up"

The meet is being held this weekend at:
Schuylkill Valley High School rts 61 & 73,
929 lakeshore drive., Leesport,PA 19533
Lifting begins at 10:00am on Sunday
several of us from the Nazareth Barbell Powerlifting team will be lifting.

This coming Sunday,April 22, Some of the NAZBAR team will be competing as a warm-up to the IPA World Championships in June.
Those competing will be:
Myself
Bombshell(my Girlfriend)
Bobby fields
Kathy Fields
Michelle Borzok
I believe Kathy may be competing raw and Bobby may be doing bench only, we'll have to wait and see.
Bombshell and I will both be doing the full power meet, full gear.
This will be both Michelle and Bombshell's first "FULL" meet. Both usually compete in the bench only division.
I am looking fo rsome good numbers from everyone, as far as for myself, who knows just gonna throw it out there and see how I feel.
Those members who are not competing will be on jand to coach and help out, which is usually a big pain in the ass, they basically wait on us hand and foot making sure everyone has evrything they need, equipment, food ,drink etc.., But when they lift they get the same treatment from the rest of us.
It looks to be a good weekend over all. Hopefully I am able to get lots of pics and video to post here following the meet.
I will give a full report as soon as I get home Sunday.

THE WAY IT WAS EXPLAINED TO ME FROM A WSB FAITHFUL. THERE BANNING ALL MEETS THAT ARE DIRECTLY RUN BY KK HIMSELF. WPO EVENTS WPC WORLDS AWPC AND SO ON.

In other words...the overwhelming majority of WSB lifters are out of the WPO, reason being if they can't do WPO Worlds and all the other big events (organized by KK) then they might as well lift elsewhere (IPA, UPA etc.)
