I am curious if anyone here suffers this issue. I train incline just much harder than flat and I have found that my incline (max 290) is about the same that I can max on the flat. Additionally, I have been working my seated press aggressively, and found that my seated press is getting into numbers that are not too far off from the pack as well (225 3 reps). Anyone else have the same issue?

Yo!

I to have the same issue. I can do inlines heavier than flat. When I first started I could do more on the flat. Now I can do the inclines heavier than flat, but thats probably because I do that exercise more often now. Its a good thing to be stronger in inclines, its important to have a good upper chest. Keep working hard.

Your body just adapts quicker so certain exercises, making it alot easier to do them

i am at the opposite, my flat bench is more than incline, but this thread made me start thinkin' i should try putting inclines first every other chest day just to see where it really stands. i usually do flat bench and then flat flies before i do incline bench, and therefore don't have as much left to do them.

The funniest part is that when I hit 20 I did some local college BP competitions and won a few. I was able to throw around 420+ on good days. Now I feel awkward with it and unstable. But I love the friggin incline. Funny how things change
