Yesterday was my first day back at the gym...warmed up for 7 min on a tread-just a light jog to get the juices flowing, after that went into the gym, set up an incline bench as far away from the norms as possible and picked my poison for my first exercise. Incline dumbbell press. After one warm up set of 15, I bit my lip and busted out 4 sets of 8-10 with 110lb dumbbell's. Next on the agenda was Barbell floor presse. Ahh, yes, i extended my towel underneath a squat rack and loaded the bar with 2 pies on each side. Felt the burn on this one. Quick, heavy, and explosive. Just as soon as my elbows would touch the ground, BOOM, had to lift the weight up. Here, I grined out 4 sets of 8-10, starting with 225lbs. and ascending. After that, it was time for a meeting with flyes. Decided for today that i would hit my lower pecs, so i moved a decline bench in between a maxicam set and clinched the low pulley cable's. 3 sets of 15 with 70lbs. moving down a notch after each set. Last but not least for my pectorials i did machine pullovers...3 sets of 12-15 with a dollar on each side. After my last set, got a swig of water form my gallon and spat out the last ounces i had in my mouth. Then i started the journey onto cable tricep pushdowns, attached a v-bar onto the high cable pulley and charged down 3 sets of 8-12 with 150lbs. Next came the kickbacks...with one arm restin on top of a preacher curl i kicked back 3 sets of 8-12 again this time with 45lb. dumbbells increasing the weight each set. at the end it was time to meet Mr. Dips. Using my bodyweigt (300lbs.) I thrusted myself upward as many times as i could trying not to swing back and forth...3 sets to failure did the trick here. After that walked for 30 min on an incline of 5.0 with a 2.8 speed on a tread. I felt bad at the end of my day because my girl and her mom had bought me some fancy shirts but they were lacking a couple of "X's" in front of the L. They were dissapointed the clothing did not fit...I wasnt I was proud....today, Legs....God, could it get any better....

Yesterday was supposed to be leg day, but for some reason everyone and their mothers were doing legs..not a single squat rack, leg press or leg extension machine was available...maybe its the weather...or something in the water thats making people enjoy legs, whatever it is who knows....so decided to do back and bi's...Started off with deads...3 sets of 6-8 reps with 315lbs...next did front pulldowns, started off with 160lbs. for 12, then moved the pin down three more times for 8-12 reps each...here i just moved down onto the low pulley cable, and with a straight bar did 3 sets of low cable rows (overhand grip)...moved the pin down to 225lbs. and did three sets pyramid'n on each set...to end my back, did 3 sets of hypers for 15 reps each...after this moved on over to a preacher curl bench and busted out 4 sets of 8-10 reps with a quater on each side...after that did alternating cable curls, 4 sets of these bad boys of 12-15 reps...from here i moved on over to one arm preacher bench hammer curls, 3 sets of 8-10 reps...and to finish barbell wrist curls supersetted with reverse barbell wrist curls, can't neglect the epitome of strength (forearms)....threw in a couple of sets of low pulley cable pull-ins supersetted with crunches...hopefully today i get a chance to do legs....
