Whats up guys. Im 18 and have been lifting hard for a lil over a year now. My squat is not up to par with the rest of my lifts. On leg day, im switching up my routine. What are some good excercises to directly follow Squats that will tear up my quads? My ham's are outweighing my quads immensly at the moment.

Also, stiff legged deads on the same week as deadlifts or no? And for powerlifting are heavy stiff legs the way to go in a 3-5rep range?

If your ham's are dominating most of your workouts, you need to relax on the SL Deads. Those are going to work your ham's the most. Try doing some squats with your feet closer together to target your quads a little better. Do some leg extensions and some weighted lunges to get your quads caught up.

Few things build more powerful quads than front squats

Just ask Ronnie

HEAVY Leg Press I'd say about 6-8 reps. Stack them plates, follow that up with Leg Extensions Try single leg ext's try as heavy as you can for 8-10 reps. Do this after you squat. As always don't sacrifice proper form for weight. This has always been my fav. quad workout and has always made my legs grow like tree trunks. I don't know how you like to squat, but try going exactly shoulder width apart and DIG as deep as your ass can let you to the ground. like Ricky P said "narrow"
If those hams are too big, GOOD! now bring the quads up with them.
KYFMS Keep it Simple and Heavy brother you can't go wrong.

leg extenstions, lunges, front squats, hack squats, leg presses are all great ways to work out the quads

For a sick squat, try doing some front squats but also do lots of lunges and straight leg deadlifts, they will help you out majorly.

Close stance squats and Front squat are your best bet to bring up your quads.
