Hey everyone. This is where I'll be posting my supplement log each day starting Monday, April 30th and I should be finishing everything after 15 workouts, which is a little over 3 weeks.
Briefly, I am bulking. I have been for less than a month and have already seen some gains. I'm looking to gain more and am eager to see how this combo helps out.
Starting Bodyweight: 193lbs
*Starting Weight for The Big 3 Lifts (max or for reps):
-Bench Press: Dumbells I put up 80s for a tough 2. Barbell, I've put up 205.
-Squat: Best I've actually done is 235 for 3.
-Deadlift: Best I've pulled is 315.
I don't deadlift from the floor anymore, as my lower back suffers heavily from doing so. Due to this, I pull in the rack each week.
I'll also mention my other supplements I take.

Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey (I'll be supplementing with it in shakes)
Optimum Nutrition Fish Oil Capsules

Done and done. Now, to the commentary!
PUMP:
I've been taking Pak for awhile now, so the pill format was easy enough. One swallow for this pak easy. Only a few tablets. Mostly caplets which I swear I could down 20 of at once. Waited about 30 minutes to hit the gym afterward.
W/O comments:
Well, as is stated above I've maxed on about 205 on bench. Well, for reps I've done 185 for maybe 5 and 195 for maybe 2. Today, one after the other, put up 185 for 10 and 195 for 4. Then 185 for 5 more. Call it mental. Also, on chest day I typically will walk around flexing in between sets like an idiot, but it helps push blood into the muscle. Well with the assistance of PUMP, it almost hurt when I flexed at times. Too much blood.
TORRENT:
Hit it right after I finished. Flavor-wise, I'm not a huge fan. I've never liked fruity-sweet stuff. I was the freak kid on the block growing up who didn't like otter pops or snow cones. But still, it whips up a pretty thick consistency for a powder and goes down smooth. Mixes really well too. I pack my powders dry in the shaker before the gym and fill up at the fountain. It took about 10 seconds of shaking to get it all up off the bottom, which is really good. Normally stuff that is stuck to the bottom after a good 5 seconds requires a tool to remove. Impressed.
Pst-W/O comments:
Recovery matrix? How about pump enhancer? Universal isn't paying me to say this, but my favorite freaking workout shirt has a nice rip in the armpit now from when I was trying to get it off when I got home. For some reason my entire upper body is swollen like crazy, and it wasn't like this before I drank that red goop.
As the days go by, I can't wait to see what else is in store.

You get a better concentrated blood flow to your lower back doing rack pulls and it shows you put less stress on it, therefore you won't tear the shit out of when you DO do your deads. Congratulations on being chosen for the stack broski, I know you'll do good.

Wheels done today, Wednesday May 2nd.
Took PUMP about 35 mins pre-workout. Warmed up 5 mins on the bike.
Got an INSANE, PAINful pump on my pre-exhaust leg extensions. I was enjoying the feeling so much that after ten reps on my heaviest set I dropped 40lbs and repped 8 more then dropped another 40lbs and repped another 6. INTENSE burn and INTENSE pump on my inner quad. Never experienced that before.
Narrow stance heel-balanced hack squats took care of the outer sweep. 1 warm up set and 4 heavy sets later, I felt like my legs were going to pop. I'm not joking and nobody is paying me to say this.
Also I think I got my first noticeable hamstring pump today. I actually felt them. I usually don't feel any hamstring stimulation even after 4-5 heavy sets on SLDL or curl machines.
Post-workout, the TORRENT once again. I really don't like the taste. Maybe if I dilute it with more water. It's just too sharp and sweet for my taste. I'm a water/milk drinker exclusively. I never really drink soda or any sweetened beverage. So it's a sharp contrast to what I'm used to. Some might like the taste...
With that said, I LOVE how it enhances my pump post-workout. It kind of firms and swells the belly of my muscles. Right now I can look in the mirror and see the marked difference in quad separation from before I drank it and then after. Don't know what it is about this stuff, but it is the real deal.

Delts/Traps done today, May 3rd, 2007
For anyone whose been reading my other log or the thread in the Training forum about my shoulder issue, it's doing alright. But today I actually trained my delts. Risky? yes. But felt pretty good.
I hit low weight, high reps like nobody's business. Got a HUGE pump. Military Press with a 20lb straight bar for 40 reps is a pretty awesome way to fatigue the shoulder girdle.
Shrugs with 25lb DB's for 60 rep sets was pretty cool too. More fatigued than 100lb DB's for 10.
Overall, pretty good workout. VERY fatigued.
PWO TORRENT taste is growing on me. I'm actually enjoying it now. Plus on delt day, as it tends to inflate your pump post-workout, i could hardly lift my arms when I got home. Very nice. I think after this test is over, I'm buying more. This shit is real.
Forgot to mention, I weighed in today.
199.5lbs. Eating like a horse and lifting like a maniac. But I've never gained this fast before. Crazy, crazy shit.

Well I've had three workouts since my last update.
I did back, chest, and legs.
Insane pump each time. Like most of the time it's on the verge of painful but it feels good. Also I want to keep pushing myself.
Broke a few PR's. Did 355 on rack pulls, 205 T-Bar Rows, 80lb dumbells for 8 reps on flat bench, 165 for 10 reps on incline BB bench, and today squatted 245 for a clean 4. Not to mention 225 for 10!
My recovery has been excellent, and my definition has never been better despite the fat gain I'm seeing. My legs especially are really ballooning up like never before. Great separation is forming and in my chest I'm seeing a lot of good results even despite my slight gyno.
I'm extremely impressed and can't wait to see my weights go up even more. It's like I used to be stuck on 60lb dumbells, scared to go any higher. Now I'm throwing around 70 and 75 like they were toys.

i think the taste of torrent is starting to grow on everyone. I find it taste really good for being a workout supp. Most workout supps have a bad rep for tasting like crap.

exactly. First couple torrents it tasted kinda like cherry and literally wax and burps tasted like cherry flavored eggs. But you get over that the first couple of days.
Back, bis, and forearms today. Worked stuff OUT. Felt great. Put up two new PR's.
T-Bar Rows w/ 4 wheels on the end for 9 solid, squeezing reps.
Rack pull for 385x1.
Excellent. Felt amazing. Tons of energy and a definitely gigantic pump. My forearms especially were so swole after wrist curls that I couldn't grip the door handle on the way out. Felt great.
Once again, Torrent to the rescue. Tastes great and I love to see it working.
Chest and Tris today. Always an experience.
Set a PR on incline DB press, did 75x10. Not too shab for me.
The pump was incredible. Blood coursing through my pecs the entire time and the triceps... well... that good pain like a balloon ready to pop. Yeah. Like that.
I love the taste of Torrent. Perfect post-workout. I'm really going to miss it.
Leg day again. Two new PR's and an awesome pump.
Squatted 225x11, 250x2.
Records both in quantity on my work set and in weight in my max set.
Loving it. Tried washing my Nitro down with Torrent today. We'll see how that affects things.

Flat DB bench: 80x10, 85x6
Incline BB bench: 175x8, 180x5
and on Saturday I rack pulled 365x4.
Seeing MAJOR strength gains. Also I'm up to about 206lbs. Nice solid weight gains!
Alright. The final evaluation. It's three and a half weeks in the making.
First of all, thanks to Universal and Animal for giving me this opportunity. I've enjoyed every second of this process and can't wait to see what else you guys have cooked up.
Second of all. WOW. This stuff is not a joke. Let's hit the numbers.
Starting Stats:

Ending Stats:
Bodyweight: 204lbs
*Weight for the Big 3 Lifts (max or for reps):
-Bench Press: I put 85's up for 6 and wasn't that bushed, Barbell I've avoided except for incline, on which I pushed 180 for 5 reps as the capstone of a 4 set pyramid. My previous max was 165 for 5.
-Squat: I'm doing 225 for upwards of 10 reps as a working set now, I pushed 260 for 1, 245 for 5.
-Deadlift: Well, in the rack, I pulled 365 for 5 reps and 385 for a single. Not bad I think.
But the Big 3 aside, I've seen monstrous gains not only in size, but overall strength. My rows are up 40 pounds, my straight bar bicep curls are up 20, and all of my tricep exercises have added 10 pounds or more. I dip for 10-15 reps for three consecutive sets, where I used to struggle for six on my second set (and I now weigh more), and I can stack leg extensions for a few reps.
Evaluations:
PUMP
Taste isn't really there. You might taste a burp or two, but nothing nasty. N/A.
Easy to take and use. A little baggie of pills. Put them in your pocket or just down them. Nothing to it.
Effects are very noticeable. Energy before the workout is massive and the pump is just plain incredible. I've never had a better experience than leg day with Pump. It just feels like you are walking on two giant balloons. Amazing.
Overall, gotta give this stuff a 5/5. No question. It's just plain and simple the best pre-workout supp that I've tried. No doubt.
TORRENT
The taste. It's what I hated at first, but now I crave it. It grows on you. Good stuff.
Easy as heck. Just toss three scoops in a shaker and head to the gym. Fill the shaker at the water fountain when you're finished, shake and sip while you leave/drive home.
Effectiveness... well it's not like it has any immediate effects. But I have noticed a lot more fullness in all of my muscles since using Torrent. My traps have a wider belly along with my shoulders and lats. My legs are rounding out and separating even though I've put on fat pounds. Even my forearms and calves are dramatically larger just from the immediate recovery and growth punch that is Torrent.
Overall, once again I give a 5/5. I'm going to be taking a break from it and instead taking a whey/Waxy Maize Starch shake post-workout and just compare the results I see. But as far as I'm concerned at this point, Torrent is the best post-workout supplement I've ever used.

bro are you still hittin the Hosue mass stack,, and have you had more gains... I know i have had some killer training sessions since i started the mass stack... keep me posted bro.. is anyone eles using the stack.. let me know.. i might mix something new up soon for my big offseason....
