Still waiting on my package to arrive so I figured I would start the log anyways. Get the simple stats and numbers out of the way.

Age: 23 Height: 6'4" Weight: 310

Monday: Back+ abs
Tuesday: Chest
Wednesday: Legs + abs
Thursday: Shoulders
Friday: Arms
Saturday: Abs+ deep stretching and heavy cardio
Sunday: Rest

The big three:
Bench press 3RM: 320 6RM: 275
Squats: N/A
Deadlift 1RM: 550 6RM: 420


I have never really done squats. While the bar is on my back it actually isnt long enough for me to get a good grip on. I have a wide back. Not to mention I was blessed with huge wheels. But I was recently taught a front bar squat. So I will be doing those more and more and will post my numbers asap.

I can;t wait to try pump and torrent. I'm sure it will give me some more extreme gains I am putting off my long awaited strict cut for this because I want to show good results. That is, unless people would like to see how this stack does on a cut? Then I would love to give it a shot to show any different looking numbers. Lemme know guys.

I had just got home from a heavy shoulder day when I found the package. Which sucks because now I'm all pumped about it and can't hit the gym again. The wait til I hit the gym tomorrow is going to kill me. But I also realise I have some catching up to do with you other guys who have been on it for a few days now.

I got my animal arms dvd in yesterday and I will be watching this before my workout tomorrow. I will then take the pump and do my business. Then I cannot wait til I try the torrent. I have heard many good things. Thanks A rep!

Tonight my girl is going to get all my measurements. I will post them the second they are done. I wear a lot of custom made suits and some times it's a bitch. I have ripped more suit jackets then anyone I know. I knew I wear a 54 long jacket. As far as width, yes I was genetically blessed as far as bone structure goes.

So Friday was arms day. It went pretty good. My training buddy and I ate something that didn't agree with us before the workout but we trained through it anyways. I tried a new approach to arms day and was left with a crazy ass pump.

Pump: The pills were pretty small compared to the ones in Pak. I took the infamous red pill. It takes a lot to bother my stomach. The pump was sort of a creeper. I didn't feel any crazy insane feeling at first. It didn't jolt me like shock therapy does. It was pretty nice. It didn't make me feel jumpy at all, but it was definitly there when I needed it. It gave me a pump that lasted a pretty long time.

Torrent: I was dying to try this stuff. After the workout I went out and threw some in the shaker. Put my 20 ounces of water in, shook and sipped. Taste is pretty good. Doesn't taste like i'm chewing aspirin. Kind of a funny after taste. Cherry, weird flavor and then back to cherry again.

As far as it working. My arms weren;t even sore or cramping that night. I usually have aweful bicep cramps after a heavy arm day. But I felt perfect. Like I could go and do it all over again.

So yesterday was chest day.

I had the day off and my training partner and I decided to hit up the beach. Figured it was the last nice day we are going to have for a week or two. Temps are supposed to get back down into 50 degree highs. So we hit the beach and threw the football around a little. After that we headed to the gym. I was pretty burnt to hell and figured this would affect my training. I have been on pump/torrent for 5 days now.

Took the pump before hitting the gym. Had a pretty empty stomach. Did some light warm ups. Push ups, DB incline press. Then hit the flat bench for some work. 20 reps of 100 to warm up. 12 reps of 200 to get that pump going. 10 reps of 250 to get used to the weight. I then took a small break and walked around for about 4 minutes. Came back. Put my 300 on. Repped it out like there was nothing on the bar. So my buddy put 20 extra pounds on. I repped it out 6 times! So he threw another 20 pounds on. 340.. my normal limit. I repped it out without breaking a sweat! 6 reps. So he threw another 20 on. ( Normally I don't do this many sets but hell, I wanted to see where the hell I could go with this) 360 lbs. Repped it out. Was a little hard I admit. But holy shit was I suprised. Throw on another 20. 380 lbs. Got it up twice with a little help on the second rep. Holy shit was I suprised.

Yesterday was legs day.

On the way to the gym I popped my pump from the bad ass black can. I start every legs day with some good stretching. I hit the treadmill to get warmed up. I will not take any risks on hurting my legs.

Leg Extensions:

20 reps at 70 lbs for warm up x 2
12 reps per leg of 70lbs x 2
16 reps of 170

Hip adductor:

20 reps of 90lbs
10 reps of 150lbs
12 reps of 190lbs

Hip Abductor:

20 reps of 90lbs
10 reps of 150lbs
12 reps of 200lbs

Leg sled;
20 reps of 100lbs
10 reps of 300lbs
8 reps of 600 lbs
8 reps of 800lbs
10 reps of 1000lbs


5 minute rest. I usually drink a mixture of bcaas or storm throughout my workout. On legs day I mix both and sip throughout. But I always take a good break after leg sled.

Smith machine squats!!! I have been hitting the smith machine every day and stretching my arms back to get into position. Those familiar with me know that I have always struggled with being able to grasp the bar because I have such wide shoulders and back. I have always been flexible because of my martial arts days. But Couldn't do this until recently.

Smith machine squats:

20 reps of no weight. (getting my arms stretched)
20 reps of 100lbs
10 reps of 200lbs
6 reps of 300lbs


Calve machine:

25 reps of 150lbs
20 reps of 220lbs per leg
20 reps of 400lbs
12 reps of 420lbs

Leg curls:
20 reps of 70 lbs
12 reps of 70 lbs per leg x 2
16 reps of 170 < The fun set. Had to take a minute to stand up.


I then went back to the hip machines. I had such an amazing pump from using these earlier and wanted to do a few more heavy sets to get that nice pump back.

Hip adductor and abductor: 2 sets each of 190. 12 reps per set.

Got my pump and then hobbled out of the gym. My bud and I usually just mix our drinks and bail. But lately we have been staying around and talking some. I noticed he had a spanking new bottle of torrent in his truck this time. We mixed our drinks and sat and talked. A few guys we know came walking by and asked what we were drinking. We showed them the torrent and told them about it. So more customers for universal. lol

Anyways, after my leg workout I normally take it easy and hit up the flex when I get home. Well I did just that. This morning I woke up with no sorness in my legs in the least bit. Man I love torrent

To tell you the truth, i wasnt really paying attention to how sore i am/was until i read all you guys' logs, but now that i think about it i havent really been sore since i started the torrent.cool deal, keep it up

Ok, I know I have yet again been neglecting the posting. So here we go with an outlined overview of exactly what has been going on.

First, as promised, my measurements.

Here we go:

Upper arm circum.: 19 inches
Forearm circum.: 14 inches
Neck circum.: 18.5 inches
Waist: 47.5 inches (down from 56)
Thigh circum.: 28 inches
Calve circum.: 19.5 inches
Chest: 47 inches
Shoulder point to point : 27 inches


My weight is down to 295. To my suprise, I can still cut on the pump and torrent stack. THis is also one of the best cuts I have been on. I don't feel nearly as weak and I can tell I'm still gaining lean mass. My strength has also been amazing. Normally I get weaker during a cut but I have done nothing but gotten stronger. I can't wait til I bulk again (8-9 months) and I can use this stack during that time.

More to come later tonight. Gotta run, I know I know

Ok,

So i know I haven't posted in a little bit. I have been in the middle of getting out of the pop corporate gym I was at and into a much more hardcore gym. Not only is it more hardcore but it also has MANY more amenities. Sauna, pool, huge hot tub, more private locker rooms. THe place is absolutly huge. I get this feeling deep down when I'm at this place that just lets me know that I will be able to grow much better there.

Now I've just got to get myself out of this freakin contract with the other gym. My year is up and I figured I would just be able to get out of it. NOPE. Even though my year is up, I still have to jump through hoops or I will wind up paying for the next two months. Getting tired of bullshit contracts.

Anyhow, I will post more when I have more time.

So I have my paper logs for my gains and workouts and such. So even though they haven't been posted it doesn't mean I wasn't doin em. Sort of hard to find time to post cept for here and there.

Anyways, got into the new gym and feel awesome about it. Finished the last of my torrent and pump. I can SEE the difference it has made. My next post will be all my measurements and gains as of now as well as a detailed review on both products.

My Final reviews

Cutting was pretty hard with this stack. ONLY because I knew that if I were to use it during bulking that it would have been amazing. My strength went up and I still was able to lose bodyfat.


Pump;

I'll be honest. Pump wasn't as groundbreaking as I hoped it would be. Maybe after cycling it a few times it would show better improvement. I'm used to taking shock therapy before workouts and some workouts I had to take some shock after the pump because I wasn't feeling like I had enough energy. Taking it was simple. I played around with different ways of taking it. On an empty stomach, on a filled stomach and everything in between.

The ease of taking it was a big plus. No messy powders or nasty ass tasting drinks. It was simple to pop a pack. I could have a pack on me and not worry about getting busted with a little baggy with white powder in it. lol Very good for travelers.



Torrent:

The star of this whole thing. I have one thing to say about torrent," I fucking love this shit."

I get hungry during my workout. Normally whey and casien do not take away my post workout hunger. Which sucks because after a workout I like to go swimming or sit in the suana for about an hour. But my baby torrent took care of that hunger. I was able to keep my doses pre measured and with me at all times. I finished my workout and I could sit in the suana and drink my torrent. It didnt sit heavy in my stomach so I could swim after drinking it without getting sick.

Not only did I notice that my recovery time was damn near non existant but sometimes after drinking it, later that night I felt like hitting the iron again. I normally love the pain and soreness the next day after a workout. It let me know I did something right. Well torrent made sure I didn't get to enjoy my being sore.

After a legs day I only so swimming for cardio. After one HEAVY legs day I downed some torrent. I could barely walk out of the gym at first. After a few hours I got a call from someone wanting to go running. I thought , "No way in hell on a leg day." Well needless to say I wound up going and ran 3 miles without any problems.

I felt less drained while taking torrent. I felt stronger and looked it.

The flavor is actually pretty good compared to some other stuff out there. One weird incident happened where I spilled a little on the locker room bench. Next day I came in and I saw it there and remembered that I forgot to clean it up. I went and got some paper towels, went to clean it up but couldnt. It had turned into a gummy substance. I PEELED it off the bench and actually rolled it into a ball. lol Anyone else experience anything like this?

Also, if you leave a tiny bit in your shaker cup and leave it over night then watch out. That sweet tasting, cherry smelling substance will turn into one of the fowlest smelling things. I was in a rush and had left a little bit of caisen and milk in one shaker and a tiny bit of torrent in the other. When I got home I went to sleep. They both sat in the sun. The next day my girl came over and decided to wash them for me. She opened them both and then the smell hit her. Needless to say I was apologizing for a while on that one.



My ratings out of ten:

Pump: 6 ( Would maybe improve after another cycle)
Pump and shock ; 8

Torrent: 9.5
Torrent with whey: 4


The reason I included the mixtures is because I read other reviews with people saying to try it in these manners. Pump and shock had me revved and ready. Mixing whey with torrent was a huge waste of a serving of torrent. It made the taste nasty and chunky. I didnt feel the effects as fast.


Things I'd like to see:

Pump: Maybe something a little more hardcore for a stimulant. Maybe a nice dose of arginine akg in there.

Torrent: A bigger bottle of the stuff. I don't believe any other flavors are needed. (Well maybe pina colada lol) I would just like to see a larger bulk size bottle of the stuff. Amazing stuff.

So as most of you know by now, I was trying to cut during this cycle.

I made just a little bit of progress. It is really hard to not gain weight from gaining the muscle. Because I definitly gained a nice amount of muscle.

As far as an update, this has been an easier cut cycle than others. Because of the amount of muscle I gained it is making it just that much easier to burn that fat. The increased strength is also making up for some of that endurance that I need so desperatly.
