Hey everyone.. So yesterday was my first training day using pump/torrent. I switched my routine up and hit chest on day 1, and will hit back, calves on day 2. I also started off with flat bench as opposed to incline, which I usually do first, in order to see where I measure up on flat bench. I was really excited to start the mass stack.
Flat Barbell Bench-:
Warmup with 135 x15
First set= 185 x 10
Second Set= 225x8
Third Set= 245x6
Last set= 185x6
My wrist was hurting a bit by the third set. I eased off the weight and focused more on the tension of the muscle.
Incline Barbell
First Set= 155 x 12
Second Set= 185x 9
Last Set= 225 x 6
Incline Dumbbell press
Two sets= 85 x 8
Incline flyes
First set= 40x10
Second set= 40 x8
Third set=40x8
I made sure I got a good stretch on the way down, but not to where it felt uncomfortable.
Dumbbell pullovers.
3 sets
This is my second week starting these bad boys, and these are my favorite chest exercise so far. I feel these more in my chest as opposed to my lats, but they still hit both parts.
I go really slow lowering and raising the weight in all my exercises, and feel the muscle. Its taken me a while to learn that, but its coming along.
Overall, This was a good training session. The pump that i had when I got home was crazy. I made sure to stretch after so I would not be sore or anything like that. I was interested to see how the Torrent tasted. I even opened it up earlier and smelled it, just to see what I was getting myself into. I have to say, it was freaking good. It mixed very well, and the flavor was great. I though to myself," Wow jake, I will actually look forward to having this after each workout."
Back and Calves are up next...
Thank you for checking in everyone. It means a lot to me

Got it. How does your diet look? Switching from cutting to bulking is going to require some experimentation with the calories, right?

Going strong from the looks of things. I hear ya on the food and budget thing. Makes it hard to get in everything when sometimes you don't have the money to get what you need. Keep going bro, looking good from where I'm sitting.

I apologize if i am late on the posts, but this week is finals week here at UTEP and I am crushed with studying and stuff like that. I will catch up with the posts later on tonight, or tomorrow morning. Ive trained legs, shoulders and arms, and had some interesting progress. Good luck to all the other animals who are in school busting their ass for finals. Hang in there....

Since my last post, I have trained Legs, Shoulders and Arms.
Legs:
Started off with some light leg extensions to warm up. 2 quick sets
Now, I moved on to Squats
1 warmup set: 135 x 15
2 set: 185 x 10
3 set: 225 x 8
4 set: 255x 6
Next I moved on to Leg Presses.
I did 4 sets of those.
1 set: 6 plates
2 set: 8 plates
3 set: 10 plates
4 set 10 plates and 15lbs on each side
Next I did Hack Squats
3 sets
1 set:4 plates
2 set: 4 plates, 25lbs on each side
3 set 4 plates, 25lbs and a 10lb on each side
Leg extensions
3 sets
Lying Leg curls
3 sets
Sitting Leg curls
3 sets
Calves- Standing Calf raises
By this time, my legs were fried. I stretched a lot after the workout cause I knew what was coming if i didnt.
I felt that the pump helped me a lot, because I had a consistent flow of energy, and my legs were feeling like they were gonna explode. The Torrent was great

Delts
This is one of my favorite body parts to train, and I was feeling pretty good on Saturday cause there was nobody at the gym i go to.
I started off with Smith Machine Military press.
1 warmup set: 135x 15
2 set: 185 x 11
3 set: 225 x 7
Dumbell Side Lat raises ( Sitting Down)
30 lbs x 12
35 lbs x 10
35 lbs x 7
Cable side laterals
40 lbs
3 sets
Next I hit Rear delt with the cable
Its the exercise where you grip the handles around shoulder height, with your arms crossing in front of you, and pull back. ( Hopefully that will help explaining it)
3 sets of these
Front dumbbel raises
2 quick burnout sets
Shrugs
Loaded the Bar up and shrugged till I couldnt shrug no more
Overall,
I am loving this stack. I can actually feel the difference in my workouts. I am running low on Pak so i need to get some more.

Today was Arms day. I popped in Wrath training arms just to get that extra motivation before I hit the weights.
started off with some Barbell curls.
15 lbs on each side just to get the blood flowing.
Next, I put 25lbs on each side x 10
Another set of the one mentioned above.
Immediately dropped the weight to 20 lbs on each side.
Immediately dropped the weight to 15 lbs on each side. Cranked out as many as I could
Preacher curls
3 sets. I was really feeling the pump by this time. I also had that extra kick of energy which helped me through
I dont know what this exercise is called, but its the one where you are at a cable station and the handles are above your head. You grasp the handles, and pretend to do a front double bicep pose, and hold the tension on the muscle. Im sure there is a name for it, but i cannot think of it right now.
I did 3 sets of those, and really squeezed the muscle. I was really feeling good at this time, and my arms looked pretty decent in the mirror. I never take off my hoodie when I work out, but today I wanted to see what was going on under there.
Forearms were next.
I did 3 sets of wrist curls. Both over hand and underhand.
Triceps were up next.
I started off with close grip bench
1 set warmup with 135 lbs.
2 set 185 lbs.
3 set 225 lbs
Next was Skull crushers
3 sets
My gym does not go heavier that 80 lb barbells( the ones with the weights already on)
1 set 75 lbs 10
2 set 80 lbs x8
3 set 80 lbs x8
4 set 80 lbs x 6
Tricep pushdowns
2 sets supersetted with dumbbell kickbacks
The pump that I had that day was AMAZING I was able to blast through my workout and have energy throughout.

This was my first week with this stack, and I am very pleased with the results. I am becoming more efficient day by day, my diet is in order, and my supplements are polishing everything off. I went up in weight. I broke the 200 lb mark. I feel that is a great accomplishment. And I have not gained any uneccesary weight, so that makes it even better. I am going to continue to work my ass off. Next up is week 2. Thanks everyone who stops by and gives encouraging words. I appreciate it.
OAK looking good bro! i myself cant wait to try this stack! good luck brother

Chest day today
I decided to switch things up a bit from reading " Inclined To Grow" by da man G-Diesel in the animal manual. I tried that workout, and man, it was awesome. I left the gym feeling really good, with a nice pump and a lot more confidence in myself
Incline dumbbell flys
I started off with a warmup set with 35 lbs
2nd set: 45 lbs x 12
3rd set: 55 lbs x 10
4th set: 60 lbs x 7
Incline Barbell press
Warmup: 155x 13
1 set: 185 x 12
2 set 225x 10
3 set 255 x 6
4 set( rested just enough to take off some weight) 225 x 6
Machine Hammer presses
1 set 150lbs
2 set 180
3 set 180 ( machine doesnt go heavier than this)
I went really slow on the negative portion of the sets, and exploded the weight out.
I had a huge pump by this time
Dumbbell pullovers
1 set 65lbs x 9
2 set 70lbs x 7
3 set 70 lbs x 6
Like I said earlier, I had a nice pump going on, I went up in the weight i lifted on incline and pullovers. I felt really good leaving the gym, knowing that I had put in good work. This stack amazes me. I recommend anyone to try this workout by G diesel, just to switch things up.
