Some of you probably know this but Big Iron's Rick Hussey has been diagnosed with a malignant form of lymph node cancer and needs an operation asap in order to have any chance to save his life. Rick does not unfortunately have medical insurance. Here is a chance for all of us as a powerlifting family to help one of our own, to set aside all of these petty damn differences regarding squat depth, federations, the "I can kick your ass" schoolyard posts, ad nauseum and do the right thing. This thing could wipe out Rick, Becca and the whole Big Iron family, if we dont close ranks and help. Prayers and good wishes are all well and good, but what is needed is CASH. Go to the Big Iron website and there is a donation button that links to Paypal. There is an account set up at a local Bank to receive these funds.I figure if 5,000 of us across the nation donate $50 the end result ,or $250,000 will really help these folks. Come on people -for the price of a pair of new wraps or large can of protein ,you can help a man who has helped hundreds of lifters of all levels and never asked for anything in return. We need to all help and NOW.
