Taste Reviews
Animal Pump: The pills were easy to swallow. No complaints there.
Torrent: The flavor was pretty sweet, a bit too much for my preference. I used the called for 3 scoops and 20 oz of cold water. I think I may dilute it a bit more with ~10 oz more cold water. It mixed up great and the flavor reminded me of cherry flavored Airheads...

Thoughts and Comments:
I wasn't able to take the AP on an empty stomach today as I got back from Mother's Day dinner (PF Chang's) around 6 pm and the gym closed at 8 pm. I had one PR which felt good. However, my endurance was trash today and my shoulder press was pathetic. I attribute this to the previous weekend's poor eating/sleeping/drinking habits (college graduation, family in town, celebrating...). I'm looking forward to redeeming myself tomorrow.

Endurance: 6.5/10
Pump: 7/10

Yeah, things are back on track now. It was a little crazy for a while there. I'm looking forward to some great days in the gym this week...

* I went light with the deadlifts since I felt a little strain in my lower back after squats. Also, this is my first week doing them (in a long ass time) as the gym I was going to previously (Planet Gayness) didn't have BBs so I couldn't do them. Now that I'm lifting at the SRC again, I'm looking forward to doing lots of squats and deads...
Comments:
Overall it was a pretty good workout. I had one PR, which is always a good thing (even though it was on a machine). As mentioned previously, I had a little "strain" in my lower back which kept my deadlifts light. I'll keep them light for the next week or two to build up strength in my lower back before loading up too much weight. I was able to take the AP on an empty stomach and I definitely felt it much more today. My endurance was back and I felt strong through most of the lifts. I also had a decent pump going after a few sets.
Evalutation:

Endurance: 8/10
Pump: 8.5/10

Today's workout got all fuked up.
It started off incredible. I busted out 2 PRs on db bench press but afterwards, on my first set of db incline, I had a serious discomfort in my left shoulder. At this point I as irate. I was pumped with my PRs and looking forward to setting a couple more for the day. But, my shoulder hurt significantly so I couldn't proceed as expected. I wanted to hurl a 45 at the mirrors.
FUKC!!!
So after I quit crying I decided to man up and work lower weights for higher reps. My left shoulder wasn't having inclines so I tried crossovers. That went well for 2 sets but it began to hurt again so I moved on...
It should also be noted that I went to Planet Fitness today, and not the SRC so the machine weights are different.
Anyway, here is the workout:

Comments:
Besides the pain in my left shoulder, the workout ended up pretty well. I got an INSANE pump in my triceps after the high rep rope pulldowns (hence doing them twice). I tried to work around the pain and it ended up pretty well. I've been feeling strong lately, probably as a result of my new split, improved diet of late, and the addition of this new stack (although the latter is probably mostly mental as I just started it). Either way, I'm feeling good.
Evaluation:
Strength: 8.5/10
Endurance: 9/10
Pump: 9.5/10

I added new progress pics on my bspace (on bb.com). You can check those out here:

*I'm planning on going light/high rep on the next two chest/tri/shoulder days in order to let my rotator cuff (which I believe is the problem) heal up before I do any long term damage to it. I've looking into things I can do to speed recovery and prevent injury but I'd appreciate any suggestions that you may have.

SFriday425,
I would check out some of BigAnt's entries; his has written responses to shoulder pain and how to rehab them. BigAnt knows his stuff and I believe he works in sports therapy and rehab. BigAnt is the person you want to ask and read over his previous posts.
I would suggest ice and rest. Dull pain you can work through, sharp pain STOP!
Good luck bro. Peace.

I had a pretty solid workout today. I concentrated on perfect form on squats and DLs so although the weight didn't increase much, I worked the wheels harder on those two exercises compared to last week. I felt strong and had decent endurance. I was really feeling the workout with some of my favorite lifts: pull-ups, squats, dls, and lunges. Also, my focus was right on throughout the workout. I had the "I'll do just one more exercise before I leave" compared to the "I'll skip that last set and go home" mentality.

Not a whole lot to report today. My hams are pretty sore from the workout yesterday and my back is a little tender. I'm going to hit up the gym for some cardio tomorrow.

Just walked on the treadmill for 45 mins @ ~4.0 mi/hr w/3.0 incline.
45 mins

My legs were still sore yesterday so I didn't run, just a steady walk on incline. I was really looking forward to chest/shoulders/triceps/abs the following day...

05-20-07, 8:42 pm
As I mentioned on my previous chest/shoulder/tri day my left shoulder was bothering me so I decided to do light weight/high rep workouts for the next 2+ chest/tri/shoulder days. I haven't done a light weight/high rep day in A LONG time so I aimed for weight that I could do 15-20 reps with and it worked out well. I didn't have anything to do today so I ended up doing a few more sets than usual...
It should also be noted that I worked out at Planet Fitness and not the usual (ASU's SRC) since I knew I was going light today and PF is just so damn close to my house. Therefore, the machine weights are different. For future reference, you can assume that I lifted at the SRC unless noted.

I wasn't very happy going to the gym today knowing I'd be doing low weight/high reps. In addition to that, my iPod died when I was into my 3rd set. However, I soon got an insane pump going and my attitude changed. I was focused and loving every set in no time. Sure, it wasn't as much fun as busting out new PRs, but I was having a great time and didn't want to leave the gym. I didn't feel very strong today but my endurance was $ after the first few sets. Also, I'm going to add "Focus" to my daily evaluations.

As I mentioned in the original post, my plan (which I had been adhering to) was to take Green Mag on OFF days. However, as this is a sponsored log I think that is/was a mistake. I'll be taking AP in the AM on OFF days from now on. Thus far I've only had 3 OFF days so it won't make much of a difference in the long run (still have ~17 days left).

Today I made a noob mistake and it cost me in the gym. I went to the gym at 5 pm and all I had to eat previously in the day was a cup of oats, two whole eggs, and two egg whites. I just wasn't hungry all day (I got up around 11 am). Anyway, I realized this when I was doing my high rep squats and had very little energy. So, I ended up doing a pretty short workout...

My legs were actually pretty sore today. More specifically, my hams and glutes were sore. I stretched them out a few times during the day which helped a bit.
Oh, and I cheated and went to Red Robin...it was f***ing delicious.

Today I hiked Camelback Mountain for my workout. I had planned on going to the gym for chest/tricep/shoulder/abs day afterwards but the hike was a lot harder than I had expected. My legs were a bit sore from leg day but I didn't figure the hike would be too bad. It KICKED MY ASS! It was ~90 out and I almost didn't make it to the top. It's only a 1.2 mile trail each way but there's a 1264 ft elevation change each way. I probably would have still gone to the gym afterwards but the chick I hiked it with convinced me to go to a bar with her afterwards and celebrate...it was a good time.

As you can see from the ridiculous amount of PRs today, I had a pretty damn good workout. I decided to change up my split this week. The way it's been, my legs are almost always sore (as I do them 2x a week). So, I'm just going to do them once a week and adjust to a chest/tri/shoulder day (A) and a back/bicep/ab day (B). A & B will be roughly 1/2 the sets I'd do if I was doing one group per day, per week. Leg day (C), will be all the sets for the week. This will allow me to get in some much needed cardio. I could barely run a mile today nonstop!
It will look roughly like this:
Day 1: C
Day 2: B (light)
Day 3: A (light) Cardio?
Day 4: Cardio
Day 5: B (heavy) + Cardio
Day 6: A (heavy) + Cardio
Day 7: OFF Cardio?
Additional OFF days as needed.
Evaluation:
Strength: 8.5/10
Endurance: 7.5/10
Pump: 8.5/10
Focus: 8/10
Overall: 8/10

Day 24: Cardio
Tuesday, June 5 2007
Treadmill
3.47 miles total
Ran 1.5 miles
478 cals
40 mins
I'm going to be stepping up my cardio up from now on. I'll be running after most non-leg days and doing cardio on off days. Need to get that heart/lungs in check and shred some fat. I'll try to eat a few more cals to compensate.

Comments:
I felt very good today. I hit more reps on subsequent sets than I had previously done. I also beat/matched a couple PRs, which is always a great thing. I wish my db shoulder presses would increase but they seem determined to stay at 50x10. I need to throw a new regiment at my shoulders next time. Loved the cardio at the end. Overall, a solid workout.
