Im starting my cutting diet and all that trash.....last summer i cut carbs way too much but got real lean but lost a shit load of muscle at the same time. this summer i def wanna eat more carbs and more often.....i learned alot from last summer. im mainly eating oats and ezekial bread and flaxseed bread for my carbs....nothing white is in my diet. i was gonna try to rotate my carbs like this: low, low, med, high, low, low, med, high..etc. i just was wondering if that is a good rotation or if there are different rotations that are more effective. as far as protein, its just from chicken and fish....not too much red meat. and fat, i try to keep it real low, i just add a lil bit of extra virgin olive oil to my meals for the healthy fat. and i lift heavy...i hate lifting light with lots of reps...i just added in more cardio. i run 2 miles when i wake up and 2 miles after i lift. but i still lift heavy. im takin pak and flex.....thinkin about adding in cuts and nitro when i get paid...lemme now what you guys think...thanks guys.

Looks good to me bro. There's no set in stone carb cycle that does the trick for everyone. Find what works for you and stick with it, and you can always eat PB for some fats too. Good luck.

thats what I am doing, low, low, med, high, right now. Last time I cut, I did the same thing you did. Definately dont want that to happen again. If you start losing too much, up the calories.

i usually work out in the late afternoon..prolly around 5 or 6 and end around 7 or 8. i always have a ON 100% protein shake and 10 oz of pomegranite juice to spike the insulin....should i have carbs after that or should i cut them out after i have the juice? im just worried about the carbs late at night..lemme know. thanks guys.

Are you dieting for a contest? Going that low will leave you with minimal energy...and you might start to drain...therefore if you are going to go as low as 50 carbs a day, you shouldn't do cardio.
I've seen best results going 30 carbs a day, only in the morning, for mon-fri, then sat sun eating 100....and I wasn't even going into a contest.

My schedule is Low=125g, Med=150g, High=175g. I am trying to stay within 5-8lbs of where I am now bodyweight wise, and I do cardio. 125g of carbs a day isnt much at all, basically a few pieces of wheat bread and some oats. Dont cut yourself too short or youll be losing a lot of that muscle you worked hard to put on. Trust me, I had to learn from experience.

Some people like me are very car sensative. I'm doing a no-low-high (0-100-200) and i actually get real bloated on my high day....so yeah, your high will be someone else's low sometimes, vice versa...

hey naw, im not training for a contest or anything...i just am trying to loose for the summer. im not sure what my bf% is, but its prolly around 14% or so. im really not sure tho. but 50g on my low day is prolly a lil too low huh? i dont know...i might try it out for a week or two and see how it does. if im really hurtin, ill eat more carbs. thanx bro.

That's what you have to do man. if you feel VERY tired, lethargic, drained, sleepy all the time, you need to bump up the carbs untill you reach that happy place. Especially running 4 miles a day, Christ, you need more like 150 grams just to replenish...
yah man, i hear ya....its just when i get into the mentality of cutting and not bulking..im almost afraid to eat too many carbs just cuz i take it to the extreme sometimes....i need to make myself eat more carbs but the right carbs....you think i should have many carbs after i work out?? i mean cuz i lift at night...so i get out of the gym at like 8. i always have a shake and a glass of pomegranite juice. but as far as complex carbs after the juice?? i crash around 11 or 12..so im unsure if i should have oats or some brn rice after the juice or not...i dont want it to be stored as fat or anyting...thanks guys....this forum and the posts really keep me motivated and focused......its good stuff.

I always take in carbs after i workout, even if i am cutting, and even if it is a "no carb" day. I have to replenish myself. But some of our keto guys, like Ox, says it's not necessary...

Wishing you the best of luck with your diet...
Try low-low-low-high-med will work out better, when your on your third day low, the high carb day is a better "load" to push the carbs into the muscles, they will need it rather than a med day....the med day is better to follow a high day, will start the fat-burning and jump start the metab. again...

Carbs--Yeah Jay eats Ezekial (sprouted no flour bread) but he most likely gets paid for eating this...it does taste good, and I have tried it...
Not saying it is not a good product, but....yams, rice, oats, B A R L E Y (see you all did not know about this--MY SECRET) might be better, again, it will be an individual thing...try them and again, post back!
Try to cycle your high and med days around your back/leg workouts---your biggest body parts and should be your longer workouts...

Don't forget cardio, Animal Cuts, and to keep your water intake high....

im doing the low carb thing for 3 days, then a high day, then medium..and then starting all over again....i really just cant wait for the 3 days to be up...i wanna eat carbs soooo badly....its really not that im too too hungry..it guess is more just like i crave soo many foods i cant have.....its freakin hard and mentally draining to keep it up...and its only the 3rd day of doing this...i do see results arlready though. things are just getting tighter and my waist is getting smaller. ive been waking up and doing cardio before eating and thats really helping alot. but im not having anything white....so that really restricts alot of the normal carbs i would usually have. im so used to just pigging out and eating everything. haha....dieting reallly sucks but needs to be done. it sucks at work becuase we only get 30 mins break for an 8 hour shift, so i cant eat every 2-3 hours....so i usually got 5-6 house with out eating anything......it really sucks. and i work almost everyday. i just make like 3 protein shakes and sip them through out the day. but i reallly need to get in real food. i eat real food only once in an 8 hour shift. its not good. i eat 2 grilled chix breast and a good portion of green beans or corn. other than that i eat before i work (usually eggs) and then when i get home. but if anybody has any sugg on eating on the job then lemme know. i need to find a plan so i can eat more during my work....i work retail so i cant have food on the floor. just lemme know anyways i can get more quality food into my diet. thanks guys.
