Hey Guys,

I usually train without the use of supplements because my old man has a butcher store and i got all the damn food i need. Thats right steak and cutlets day and night. However, I see many people making great gains and becoming healthier using supplements along with getting that extra boost. I have used whey before but not to long. I am 20 years old and i eat 6-8 times a day. I dont know anything about supplements. I need help brothers, so any advice on which supps i should use would be very helpful. Thanks alot guys. I dont know if this will help but i weigh 202.

Yo cuz,

Supps r tha icing on the cake!, and i dont know about u, but cake aint cake without icing!
Start with animal pak as ur base supp, u need a strong multi-vit 2 help ur body fully proccess & absorb all the nutes from ur food ur eating,
+ loads of other health bennefits, oh yeah, & dont be scared when ur pissing lumo-yellow at the first piss break after that.
next, get urself a good quality shake, carb free if ur cutting, but if ur gaining take something with a 19/42 protein/carb split for lean gains, otherwise real gains if ur lookin for serious mass, jjust be carefull, one serving has over 1800cals!
25min Before ur workout give animal pump a try, that product is the shit, pumps last 4 ages well after a workout.
then top it off with a pack of nitro G mixed with a serving of storm directly after the workout. Wait 45-60 min after slugging that down b4 u hit ur next meal.

If ur happy with ur diet & its workin 4ya, then u should see some pretty impressive leaps forward with the addition of supps 2ur diet, especially the animal pump, that shit rocks. but remember to start with the multi-vit first.

peace

If you're making solid gains without supplements, I see no reason to change. Don't let what others are doing influence your decision. That said, don't avoid learning from others either. As for the basics, starting with Animal Pak might be a good idea. A basic stack, like violator said, might be the Pak and Pump. Don't go overboard with the supps though.

Like Wasteland said, stick with what works for you. But remeber that there are 20 amino acids and ten of those are essential.

Phenylalanine
Valine
Threonine
Tryptophan
Isoleucine
Methionine
Histidine
Ariginine
Lysine
Leucine

You can't grow if you are deficient in any one of them. It sounds like you are getting plenty of protien in your diet but supplements can provide better, purer sources of these essential and Branch-chained (BCAA) amino acids (L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine, and L-Valine). You body will be more apt to utillize these protien supplements in the purer form than doing the work of processing them out of your diet. As you will read in these forums, Animal and Universal nutrion make some great products for supplementation of these protiens. Try the Universal Ultra-Iso Whey. It tastes great and you can mix it with a spoon! No kidding. It's not that heavy chalky tasting stuff.

Also try the Animal Nitro-G if you can find it. It is an outstanding source of the Essential Amino acids, plus some other good stuff for building the machine. Also the Animal-Pak is a great multi supplenment to cover the rest of the bases.

Don't worry about, Flex, Pump, and M-staks yet. You may find you will want to give them a try in the future based on you experiences with the Ultra-Iso Whey, Nitro G, and Anmial Pak.

Good luck!

Man, that's quite the hook up you've got with your pops owning a butcher shop. If you're looking to add a supplement to the mix you might just want something like the Pak, which'll help insure you're taking in all of the right nutrients, i.e, vitamins, minerals and other performance optimizers. I agree with Violator and Wasteland... Pump and Pak would be a good 1-2 combo. You'd take Pak first thing in the morning with breakfast and Pump 45 minutes before the workout.
