View Full Version : Animal Flex?
Hey Bros. I was wondering if anyone knows much about the Animal Flex product. I am not really struggling with any joint pains, but was wondering if this is worth it. I am always concerned that I will arbitrarily consuming some supp, not feeling it, and not reaping any benifits. I assume that you can't really "feel" the effects of this one though. I guess that's the point. Any thoughts?
The only supplement I have ever "felt" is creatine. I got a little stronger in all exercises when I started using that. I dont feel any other supplements I take, but I hope they pay off in the long run.

Animal Flex is not just for when you have a problem... But also to prevent problems and for maintenance.
There is a thread here: http://forum.animalpak.com/showthread.php?t=548
I started taking animal flex this past november after I popped my shoulder for the 3rd time in less than a year. I went through physiotherapy and took my rotator cuff exercises seriously this time around along with the animal flex. I gotta say that my shoulder feels much better. Not only the shoulder, but my knees, ankles, elbows, everything. I've taken other glucosamine/chondroitin supplements in the past and nothing feels as great as the flex. A worthwhile investment in my mind.
Flex is a solid overall joint support supplement for bodybuilders. Some guys feel less joint pain in a matter of a few weeks when using Flex. However it should not take the place of proper exercise warm-up, stretching, poor lifting form.
I started using Flex the week it came out. I now consider it a "core" supplement like the Pak. I'm 39, and yeah, the joints can ache at times. Since starting Flex, it has been MUCH less pronounced.
I used to use just glucosomine with some success, but this surpasses it, and frankly, is worth the extra few bucks. (Bought at the right place, it's actually cheaper than what I used to use, but don' tell anyone at Universal that, LOL).
Good solid product and should be considered a staple by anyone that trains hard.

I agree Rotlex--like the Pak, Flex is a staple for sure. I like the fact that I only have to take it 1x a day.
I tried Animal Flex since the first week it came out. I had an incredible pain in knees and in less than a week it just disapeared. I use it every morning, even if now I don't have any problems. I think it's some great stuff

I happen to have a few extra bucks and I was really wondering if animal flex is actually worth it... hope to hear opinions from those of you who took it... no big pains for me, but even the small ones can be annoying at times

I take it and treat it like a required supplement like Animal Pak now, I order Pak and Flex at the same time. As an older lifter I need a joint complex and Flex is the best one I've tried. You won't be disappointed, it's fairly cheap too.
