What is the difference between a beanie and a skullcap?

skull cap isnt as long so it fits your head more snugly, beanie is longer and you have to fold the bottom over
A beanie is longer and covers your ears to a extent. a skull cap is alot shorter and just barely reaches your ears.
Ok, I understand that now. So then If I chose to get one I would get the shull cap because it would be snug over my head vs being something that you might wear in the winter time. Gotcha!

Right. The beanie is more like a classic watch cap where you fold the bottom up. The skullcap is shorter, so not folding is necessary.
kinda weird to see so many bodybuilders wearing them. when did this become trendy?
i think it started from snowboarding(wearing a "skully" that is). if you wore a beanie snowboarding and sweat it would loosen over your eyes, even though it was warmer. i belive its the same premise for lifting, not to mention it just looks badass covering your eye(evil looking).
yeah, plus it nicely hides balding. seems mandatory to wear a goatee with it too.

i like the skull cap better,the fold over on the beanie makes you look not as 'hardcore" if you wanna put it that way lol ive been wanting to get one,just dont have any spare change layin around
I have long hair but purchased the skull cap and it shoots off my melon like a black rocket everytime I put it on... guess it needs some skin to grab as traction...
but the fukkerlooks cool just hanging on my couch with some workout shirts

I wear one because it keeps my body temperature up during the colder months. I would be willing to bet my gym doesnt turn the heat on during the winter.
