When you start dieting down for a show..let's say you give yourself 16 weeks, like I do...can you still put on muscle at all during this time? What about in the early phase of dieting..like the first month when the cutting back of fats and carbs is not too bad? Is there any chance you may put on any muscle at this time?

For instance..I always start off the first 3-4 weeks with low, low, med., high right. Low days may be 75-100g carbs and highs may be between 150-175 g carbs...usually about 30-40g fats a day..then I change this as time goes by and depending on how I look too.

Sure theres a chance but its best to concentrate on keeping what you currently have
