What kind/s of steak do you fellas normally cook up? Shit gets expensive and I am curious what kind of cuts you guys buy, and whats your favorite way to cook it?

London Broil is the leanest cut you can get. I just broil it in the oven and it's ready to go in about 10-15 minutes. Now when I go out to eat it's a different story. I eat a more tender fatty cut, like a NY strip or my favorite..... FILIT MIGNON! Red meat is a MUST for mass gains and it also raises test levels, can't beat that.

I'm really diggin' the hillbilly steak right now man... 95% lean ground beef. Throw in some taco sauce (if you're on a bulk) and go with it. Nah really I'm just a cheap ass.

I normally get chuck steak. it does have some extra fat on the ends.. but you can trim a bit off. and it's cheap way cheap.. the ONLY way I eat a steak is off the grill. I tenderize it with a meat mallet first rub it down with olive oil.. kosher salt and course black pepper or just standard steak seasoning. on a charcoal fire NOT gas. charcoal sears is the flavor better. just a few minutes on each side and then it's ready. I try to never over cook a steak. I like them medium well. and after the steak is done I throw a few sweet potatoes on the grill, rub them with olive oil also and when the fire goes out. they are ready. I put them in a ziploc bag for later..

Sirloin, tri tip, flank, whatever I can find on sale and is lean. I eat 8-10 oz a night just grilled......and my cholesterol is still below 140 so I'm good to go!

AHAH, I got you beat bro! Right now my cash is really low, I've been doing 10 ounces of 93% lean ground beef for the past 2 weeks.

Hmm...I go with blade or rump steak, it's lean and most times it's the just cheapest thing in the store.

London Broil also or 96/4 ground beef, cooked with tomato and chipotle hot sauce, and if you need carbs just mix it with some brown rice, fast and easy.

Nothing beats a big sirloin with Montreal Rub and some Italian dressing.

I go to my local Kroger and get 3lbs of London Broil and have them grind it up and I make like 6 8oz burgers out of it...so good(especially if you can get the meat that is about to go bad and cook it the same day!)

I try to buy a few sirloins every week. Just bake it for about 45 minutes and then cut into portions.

At home I do the chuck steak and trim them myself...then for work I like the cube or minute steaks beacuse they stay tender in the microwave.... I can cook up a cube steak and reheat it and its just as tender as the first time I cooked it.
