Good info.

Does any member of The Forvm eat just 3oz of meat in a sitting? Guess we have to do some math. Nutritional info just isn't designed for those on a bulking cycle.

this is a pretty big generalization, but 8oz of cow is +- 40g of protein

So, I would have to multiply all of these by at least six to equal out one serving of meat? Too much math for me.

I have in the past, but I was doing some experimenting and eating every hour.

The best thing I've recently found was Bison steaks. Basically the same amount of protein with much less calories and total fat. Great tasting stuff.

I have started including eye round into my diet. I got a local storing selling them for cheap and they are trimed to almost 0 visible fat. I have seen 4 diffrent macro counts for this cut of steak. I have been using for a 1oz measurment: 50cal 8 protien 2 fat 0 carbs. I have seen that calarie count very from 25 to 70 per oz. So Im just a little confused. I try to stick to the round cut steaks for beef that is fairly lean. Is there another cut that should look into.

Well, there are 28.35 grams per ounce. So you have accounted for a total of 10 grams. (8 from protein and 2 from fat) That leave you with 18.35 that are something else, assuming that first macronutrient count is correct. I wouldn't guess that eye round would be 2/3 water and connective tissue, but I could be wrong. Eye round is about as lean of a cut of beef as you will come by.

1oz. Beef Flank (Lean only, Trimmed to 0" fat)

40cals - 6g protein, 0 carb, 1.5g fat

Being consistant is what matters, not the EXACT macro reading. Just pick one and stick to it. The above is what i use, from my calorie counter program.

8oz is probably more like 50-55g of protein for sure. 6-7g per ounce.
