Hey fellas, not sure how many of you know me or have read any of my posts, but here goes for my log. I am 26 and I live in Estero, FL and train at the Training Ground. I am currently around 189 lbs (BF...well..not sure, but I'd say around 14%..just a guess). My diet is basic..to say the least. Right now I'm at about 3,500 cals per day....250 of that from protein....the rest is made up of carbs and fats..just like the rest of ya. But that will change with this testing now starting. I have a diet that I'll follow that I used in the past and good good results...size wise, but not nearly as strong as I was doing a different type of training.

My Split: This is subject to change during my week..do to what I feel on that day.

Monday: Chest/Biceps
Tuesday: Triceps
Wednesday: Off
Thursday: Legs
Friday: Back
Saturday or Sunday: Shoulders

My current best lifts are as follows:
Flat Bench Press: 265..I know..I know..it isn't that great..but I don't have a great left shoulder which really makes it difficult to go higher sometimes.

Squat: 405..that will get better..I promise.

Deadlift: 325.

My current supplements are as follows as well: Animal Pak, Universal Carbo Plus, and Universal Ultra Iso Whey. I was going to get some Animal Flex and Animal Nitro, but not including it this time as I don't have it in my possession and didn't want to start it in the middle of the testing.

Well brothers..there you have it...my first post...that felt good...getting it started. Now the real work begins Monday! Can't wait to get it going....Train Hard!

fellas..i got home from work tonight..and there on the kitchen island sat Animal "X." i literally dropped everything that was in my hands to get hold of it. looks to be pretty potent...hope that i get some good gains from it. i am following a diet that Lowdown5 sent to me...so i'm counting on it to work for me. i'm an endo and he found something that he thought would work for me. i'm sitting here calculating everything so i can get an idea of how many cals/carbs/protein i'll be getting. Train hard!

Give my log a read. Leg day tommorrow. Looking forward to it!

Good luck!

Thanks Flash. I calculated my amounts for my food intake...let's hope that i can stay consistent with this throughout the 4 weeks. i'll be consuming as follows:

It consists of lean beef or ground turkey, egg whites, protein powder, green beans, celery, blue berries, natural peanut butter, peanuts, and oatmeal. Pretty bland and boring.

3031 calories/ 196 g carbohydrates/ and 333 g protein.

Not sure if I'll hit chest or legs tomorrow. I'm looking into joining a Gold's down here because it might be more to my liking and training style as to where I work...which is a gym as well. But everytime I try to go in a train...I'm asked by my boss to do this or do that. It really makes my training inconsistent...and unfocused. We'll see when the morning comes what happens. Train hard!

Looks good Ryan, but no chicken, brocolli or complex carbs other than oats?

Calorie wise it looks good for a bulk but maybe expand your food choices a bit.

will do lowdown. i'll be including sweet potatoes as well..and some chicken. i'm sick of broccoli as it is..so i'm substituting some green beans, peppers, and celery in its place. and when i make chicken..i seem to destroy it. so we'll take some chances. hopefully tonight i get to hit the iron..who knows..with the way work is going...still hoping to join gold's tomorrow morning..if the wife allows it. I hear ya on the brocolli, but you gotta learn to love it. I put hot sauce on it, no real taste then. On the chicken, do you have a George Foreman grill? They are awesome, hard to ruin stuff on one.

I started the new 4 week diet to hopefully put on some good lean mass yesterday. Today the diet is the same as yesterday except for last night i included 10 eggs whites and a banana after my workout. Feels good to be eating a little more and to be able to feel like I've put something good into my body. Train hard!

last night was shoulders...a quick workout. finished in about 25 min.

Delts: Rear delt machine 12x90, 12x110, 12x130, 12x130
DB shoulder presses 12x45, 12x45, 12x50
Freemotion rear delts 12x20, 12x20, 12x20
DB lateral raises 12x20, 12x20, 12x25
Freemotion shoulder press 10x25, 10x27.5, 10x32.5, 10x32.5, 10x35.

a good workout...could have been better, but i'll continue to improve. the numbers on the freemotion are a little lower, but if you've ever used one, you know that the pulley makes the weight a little more difficult. Train hard!

ryanlemley1
08-09-07, 12:21 pm
today is my day off. food intake will decrease somewhat. 6 oz of beef as opposed to 8 oz, 1/2 cup of oats instead of 1 cup. small banana. the 1 TBSP of natty peanut butter is a staple. and as always..lots and lots of H2O. waiting still on my universal iso whey to arrive. been waiting like a week and half. i go through supplement warehouse because they are the cheapest i've found for the 6.6 lb tub, but they take forever. pinching pennies in my household..so i'll have to see how the rest of the week and weekend play out in regards to my nutrition. Train Hard!

sorry for missing yesterday fellas..had stuff to do around the house..so i didn't have a chance to log on. but yesterday was an off day...as was today. when i got what i needed done around the house..i slept the rest of the day..i've been feeling really fatigued all weekend. today i woke up and was really sore in my lower back and hips. that kind of prohibited me from doing much. not sure why i'm so sore to tell you the truth. i'll keep at it..and hopefully feel better tomorrow. YOUR AN ANIMAL X TESTER!

The choosen few. The first to get the best supplement EVER!

You want encouragement, this is your chance to grow ahead of 'the other guy who wants it just as much as you do'. We've been given the Golden Ticket, now eat big, lift big, and enjoy the ride.

Work sucks... it always sucks. That is why its called work and not ... fun. Stresses come and go. But we all know that single focused bliss that comes when your lying on a bench, a cold, heavy bar in your hands, and its just you against the weight. Down and Up, over and over. No time to think about work problems, family problems, money problems... just move the weight, pick it up, and put it down. Then repeat. No worries, no hassels, no bullshit...

When everything else is going to sh!t, you can always count on the single minded simplicity that comes at the gym. This is your time. Jobs come and go, and occasionally so will the woman in your life, but you are the one person who will be there at the end of the day. And the only person you have to look at in the mirror every morning. Stay true to yourself, don't give up, and never, EVER quit!

i hear ya flash. money has been a real issue over the past few weeks. had to ask the parents for cash to pay the remainder of my mortgage for the month. sucks..and it really upsets me as i've been focusing so much on my work and getting clients so i can pay the bills. to tell you all the truth..my in-laws got into town last night..and for the first time in a week, i haven't lived off of protein shakes. i literally had nothing to eat. i was feeding my dogs and my wife before i ate. really depressing and gets you in the dumps. but i'm trying. thanks guys for being here to listen. You're doing what must be done, and many won't understand why you're doing what it is you are....but I have an idea of what's going on...and yes, it is depressing, but bro, trust me, once you get outta this little bump in the road you'll look back and be like " fuck man...I just went through that shit, and came out on top....fuck, what else could life throw at me? ".....that's the key, "What else can life throw at me?" Good question...answere being anything....so therefore Ryan, you do what you gotta do bro...and that's steppin' up to that plate and swingin till you smoke that fuckin ball called "life," and get past all the shit.

Key to why it's called the pursuit of happiness.

You'll get through this bro, much love and honor my good brother....this is what a real man is.....priorities in order.

Much respect good sir.

Hey..just reading up on you here..I hope all is well. Its hard to try and find the right thing to say to someone when there is a personal issue involved that puts them into a sort of slum. Its easy for an outsider to be cut and dry and say "just do it" or whatever...sometimes there is a time and place for such words. Other times, being sincere and sympathetic by just offering an ear is enough for someone get shit off their chest..without feeling they owe an explanation for how shit happened to begin with.

Whatever stesses you have going on, chances are most of us have been through the same as you at some time or another. For me, I have learned over the years that money is only a tool. It will take you wherever you wish, but it will not replace you as the driver. Make due with what you got..as you have been doing. This builds strength in character, this makes one humble and more appreciative. It sucks to go without for a while..yes. It's great to always have the things you need when you want them available to you. However, it means that much more to make sure you havent lost the things that money cant buy. Focus on that and that will surely keep you sane.

ryanlemley1
08-28-07, 11:08 pm
thank you all for your support and understanding. it is really tough for me and my wife because...this is really our first time having to deal with this. i mean money has been tight before..but never to this extent. when you don't eat you feel like that family on the street..you say to yourself..."that would never happen to me." and sure enough..it has. i've been plugging away..trying my best to cut corners wherever we can. thanks again! Train hard!

focus on the laws of attraction, bro. Think about the things that ARE going good in your life. You've been selected to test an amazing supplement. I figure you love your wife, focus on that.Ignore the crap, if you think about the positives you already have, you will attract more. Don't give up!

all things considered...the ANIMAL "X" was great. i would say that all of my lifts increased and i did feel a surge of energy during my workouts. thanks animal for producing such a great product and for giving me a chance to try it out first....even though i had some problems during the end. Train hard!
