First of all, I want to let everyone know how absolutely pumped I am right now to be starting up this log. I know all fifteen of us are going to dominate this Alpha Test. Let's do it!

Current Weight: 198lbs.

Current Split:

Monday - Bi's and Shoulders
Tuesday - Chest
Wednesday - OFF
Thursday - Back and Tri's
Friday - Legs
Saturday - OFF
Sunday - Repeat


Diet: Obviously my goals are to gain lean muscle like mostly everybody else. My bulking diet involves a lot of peanut butter, red meat and rice.. Lot of calories, lot of protein..

Other Supplements: Animal Pak, Animal Flex, Animal Stak2 (Finishing cycle).

Current Lifts and Max's:
Bench: 305x2
Squat (Smith): 315x6
Deadlift: 315x5
DB Row: 115x8
BB Curl: 90x10
I don't normally max out, but these are the weights I've gone up to and the reps I've completed.

Let's get this shit started fellas.... Can't wait for the arrival.

No delivery today... Little dissapointed, but at least I won't have to stare at the box all weekend being tempted to start early.. I'll get it Monday, open it and not even have time to appreciate it - Just take it down right away and get to work.

Home from work and still no sign of Animal "X". Getting a bit frustrated, but still holding in some patience for the next round of UPS deliveries which should come around 5:00-5:30.. Gym is postponed until tonight, where hopefully I'll have some "X" in me.

Another reason why this company is tops, like we needed another reason... J-Dawg took it upon himself to see what was up with my Animal "X" shipment, turns out it was returned for some reason. Either way he informed me that I will have it tomorrow the latest. So look out because tomorrow my log will start getting heavy.

So last night I got in my first workout on "X". Tonight will be a night off, and tomorrow I will crush chest followed by back/tri's on Sunday.

Here's how it broke down last night:

Shoulders:

Overhead DB Press: 40x10, 50x8, 60x6

Front Delt Raise: 15x10, 20x8, 25x6

Lateral DB Raise: 15x10, 20x8, 25x6

Upright Row (Inside-Grip): 70x10, 80x8, 80x6

Upright Row (Outter-Grip): 70x10, 80x8, 80x6

Biceps:

Alt. DB Curl: 30x10, 35x8, 40x6

BB Curl: 60x10, 70x8, 80x6

Preacher Machine: 30x20, 40x15, 50x10

DB Curl (Drop Set): 30x10 ---> 25x10 ---> 20x10

Last night's workout I felt pretty good with the "X" in me. I felt a pretty good pump, which would explain the lighter weight I used through most of the workout. I didn't have to go very heavy to get a big time pump going.. The weight will be increased next time in for sure.

Saturdays Chest day:

Chest:

Bench: 135x10, 225x8, 275x4

Incline DB: 70x10, 80x8, 90x6

Cable Cross: 30x10, 40x8, 50x6

Incline DB Fly :: Giant Set :: 30x10 ---> 40x8 ---> 50x6

Not thrilled with the weight for my first chest day, but that will just motivate me to hammer it harder next time through..

Also kept the intensity up getting through this workout in about 40 minutes.. normally I like to take my time and get more sets in.

I got a much better pump than I normally do. So far, as early as it is, only difference I've seen is that I've been getting a much better pump... faster. It doesn't take long to start feeling pumped and full.

I have seen more strength. Haven't hit incline in a while, last time I did I don't remember busting out 6 solid reps at 225 like I did yesterday but I felt I could've busted out 8.

Yeah buddy, you got that right.. I'm back working again and it's much easier to get things done in regards to my diet now that I have a routine again.. Water was being pounded all day today, feel much better already..

Went back to rocking out on some DL's... Haven't touched these in a couple months but I felt a lot better than I thought I would..

Here's how it went down:

Back:

Deadlifts: 225x5, 275x5, 315x5

Wide-Grip Pulldowns: 100x10, 110x8, 120x6

Reverse DB Flies: 15x10, 20x8, 25x6

Straight Arm Pushdowns: 70x10, 90x8, 100x6

Triceps:

Thanks, LD. Wanted more on the triceps tonight, but they were smoked after the Overhead's.. I usually do them last but for some reason I just went into them on my second exercise.. Can't really explain that one, had I done those at the end I probably would've been able to get more work in.

Yeah, today the triceps are hurtin'! I feel like both of them were hit with a bat. I'm not used to get sore so soon, it's usually 18-20 hours after I lift I start really feeling the soreness.. This is along the lines of an hour after I woke up and I lifted last night.. The soreness definitley hit a lot earlier than normal, but I like the fact that they are as sore as they are because I know they got worked real good.

Experienced a little tingling in my left hand.. I wear wrist straps for support - but haven't experienced this until today. Possibly just wound too tight, but I had to keep unstrapping between sets to attempt to get full feeling back into my hand.

Here's how it went down:

Shoulders:

Machine Press: 90x10, 110x8, 130x6

Front Delt Raises: 15x10, 20x8, 25x6

Lateral Raises: 15x10, 20x8, 25x6

Upright Row (Inside-Grip): 70x10, 80x8, 80x8

Upright Row (Outside-Grip): 70x10, 80x8, 80x8

Smith Shrug: 225x20, 275x15, 315x10


Biceps:

Alt. DB Curl: 35x10, 40x8, 45x6

"X" hooked it up today. Felt real good throughout the workout - Experienced some sweating toward the end of my shoulder workout - right toward the end of my upright rows the faucets turned on inside me.

My weight today was at 202lbs -- Up from 4lbs from when I started.

Whats up everyone? I know I haven't been around and as I've already posted in my Journey log - I had a death in the family so things have been a little crazy this last week..

Got in a solid workout today, though. First time I paired up my biceps and triceps since last winter and I felt great. Considering how inconsistent my workouts have been as of late - I was pleased with the strength I had today. My triceps felt great even though I'm working with a somewhat injured left elbow. Last tricep workout I feel like I did something to the outside part, and it's been in pain ever since. I got a sleeve for it today so hopefully that will help heal it up faster. Didn't bother me too much during todays workout though which is a good sign.
