First off I would like to thank Universal and Animal for this opportunity. This is my “X” log. I have not received my “X” as of yet so I am still speculating what the ingredients are, and I am like a kid on Christmas Eve right now.

But lets get down to business on the GFH plan with product “X”

Height: 6’0”
Weight: 214
Body fat %: 12%

My split:

Monday: Chest/abs
Tuesday: Back/calves
Wednesday: Legs/abs
Thursday: Shoulders/calves
Friday: Arms/abs
Saturday and Sunday: recouping like I mean it!

I do little to no cardio because I am the type that loses weight just looking at a treadmill. Its bulking season however J. Also with my body type my muscles grow longwise rather then out so it doesn’t seem like I gain but I really do.


Current lifts:

Bench: 315 x6
Squat: 405x5
Incline: 275 x4
Dead lift: 455x2
Bent Over row: 225x5
BB curls: 115x8
Shoulder Press: 225x3
Leg press: 900x8


Diet:

My diet has consists of 3600-4000 cals a day, divided into 6 meals. It’s all the good stuff. Lots of oatmeal, chicken, beef and tuna about ½ a gallon of milk a day and about 8 eggs. I try to take in 300-350g of protein per day and run carbs just slightly higher then my protein intake.

Supps while taking “X”:

Shock Therapy
Storm
EAAs
Whey (PWO I use whey + generic waxy maize cause I am broke atm lol…….damn tires on my car had to be replaced)


Very simple stack though and will be run along side of “X”.

Some other random crap I should throw in here:


I work out in the a.m., not bright and early but in the a.m.. Usually around 10-11 a.m. i hit the weights. I wake up at 6-7 (depending on the day and what I have going on for said day) eat my breakfast that is usually 1 cup oatmeal, 1/2 cup milk, 4-5 liquid egg whites and a scoop of whey. And a second meal 1 hour before driving to the gym.

Also as far as past supplementation, I have never touched any type of product that has anything at all to do with hormones outside of ZMA. That means I am doing everything basically natural.

Thanks fellas its much appreciated. Everything is taken with a grain of salt, and no supp is a magic pill, you still need to do the hardwork sweat and pain. Ill keep my log as unbiased as I can (which will be hard cause Universal and Animal is my favorite company)

Mail already arrived today. No animal X in it either. :(

Here is hoping that it comes today via fedex. If not it has to arrive here tomarrow or I probably wont be able to start it on monday.


edit: If it comes fedex or UPS they deliver around 3-4 at my location so I will be at work during delivery time so I'll def be keeping track of the forvm at work to see if any other animals are getting theres.

Just wait. It looks by far like a very complete formula. But thats what you get with animal products :)

I may have a couple questions about dosages in them but ya. I am very suprised at whats actually in it.

Just basing off the formula i think animal has a winner on their hands with this one.

OK, it's on like donkey kong!!!!!

Ate my breakfast not to long ago. 1 cup oatmeal, 1 scoop whey, 4 pastereuzed egg whites (i just shotgun egg whites..........cooking takes to long LOL) and a hearty helping of milk.

Today is chest day and I am psyched!!!

I like doing whey with all this because right when I get up I want some protien to be flooding my body asap. So with this breakfast I have fast, medium and slow digesting protien. Every thing a growing man needs :D

Well I do know what some of the ingredients were before recieving my X. And yes this product is by far going to be potent.


Only thing that concerns me now is when it comes out on the market how much is it gonna cost, cause i'll def wanna do another cycle of it.

Ok first workout with X is in the books. Was a good workout too. Last week my chest workout felt shakey and flat but as you'll notice this week I got back up on the horse.

Anyways this is how it went down:


Bench: 135x15, 225x12, 275x8, 315x4 (failed on 5th rep so i dont count it), 225x12

Incline:135x12, 185x10, 225x8, 225x7, 225x5, 185x8

Cable Crossovers: 70x10, 70x10, 80x10, 80x10

Incline flyes: 35x12, 40x12, 40x10, 45x8

Dumbell Incline press: 65x10, 70x10, 70x8, 70x7

Hammer strength bench: 2 plates x 10, 2 plates x 10, 2 plates x 10, 2 playes x 10

Decline bench (smith) 225 x 10 225 x 10, 225x10 (usually dont do decline because it puts a bad pressure on my shoulders)

Cable underhanded crossovers: 20x10, 20x10, 20x10


Ab work:

Decline body weight crunches super setted w/ hang leg raises: 4 sets of 15 crunches and 10 raises

Weighted cable crunch @120 lbs superset w/ cable side bends @ 80 lbs: 3 sets of 12 each

K so about 2 1/2 hours after completing my work out my left elbow feels a weird kind of tight. Probably nothing to be too worried about though.

Ya the work out was good. Not my best but everyday can't be the best either.

It was good enough however where I think I will be sore tomarrow, which means in fact it was good.

edit: Oh ya I am gonna be sore tomarrow. Getting slight cramps already in my chest and tri's but my urine is clear. But thats a normal occurance with me as well.

hey man, thats a pretty high volumed chest workout! What did you think of X on your first day? I think its one of those things thats way too early to tell, as I noticed nothing yet.

Ya it is way to early to tell. I think most of the effects will start to set in towards the end of week 1 beginning of week 2.

I did however get a good pump going right in middle of my bench series, and pecs did get a little tight. But that prolly has nothing to do with X and has more to do with shock therapy (and I now have the beta alanine version as well :D).


But definitely cramping up so time to start chugging water like its my job.

edit: and you think thats a high volume workout, wait till tomarrow. My back day is probably the highest volume workout I have, surpassing legs. Also It only took me an hour and 10 mins to get that chest and ab work done so I had a very good pace of things.

It clocks in around 20 sets, all of which are all almost supersetted. So in reality its much more like 40 sets at extremely high intensity.

My back however was at one point my weak spot, so I knew it needed a lot of shocking to grow. As it turnns out, back has now become one of my finer, if not my best, points.

Ok so as my work day is closing down all I have to say is soreness has already set in.

My chest and tris are soo sore right now. The good type of soreness however. And whats weird is that I usually don't feel soreness until the next day and on chest days my tri's never get sore.

Also, around 5 pm till now i have been feeling damn sleepy. Makes for an interesting workday eh?

Woke up this morning, sore as hell in my chest and tri's.

That however won't disuade me from taking the day off. Hell no its back day!!!

I repeated the same breakfast I had yesterday and getting ready to go to the gym now.



But I kinda wish had some Torrent and Nitro for recovery hehe

I hit Chest and BIs yesterday. Both are alot sorer today then normal. But it's that good muscle soreness.. so I am NOT complaining. I got an immediate reaction from X, which definatly suprised me. I wasn't counting on anything until at least the second week. But, all my lift were up, felt strong, very focused. I'm taking Pump too, which always gets me up before a workout, but this was much more then that. Only new factor was X, so ......

Good luck with back today, hitting legs in a few hours. Need to get a couple of meals in me first.

Looking forward to seeing how everyone else is doing.

Ok got done with back day. Sorenss in my chest kind of went away by the time I got to the gym. On back exercises I really concentrate on the stretches and pinch hard on the contractions, so thats why some weights are not as heavy as I could go.

Here was my routine:

Body weight chin up superset w/ T bar rows:

Chin ups: 4 sets of 10 (I start of with chins so it burns out my biceps so I dont use them as much in my other pulls)
T-bar rows: 100x10, 125x10, 150x8, 175x8 (use 25's rather then plates for full ROM)

Bent Over Row: 135x12, 175x10, 185x8, 205x6, 225x4

wide grip Lat pulldowns superset w/ wide grip seat cable row:

Lat pulldowns: 150x10, 160x10, 170x10, 180x8
Cable Row: 130x10, 140x10, 150x10, 160x8


Straight arm lat pull down super set w/ machine Back extension:

Straight arm lat pull down: 50x10, 60x10, 60x10, 70x8
Machine Back extension: 260x10, 260x10, 260x10, 260x10 (this gives a real good stretch and really warms up my lower back)

One arm dumbell row superset w/ close grip lat pulldown:

1-arm rows: 80x10, 80x10, 80x10
Close grip lats: 130x10, 150x10, 170x8


Dead lifts: 225x10, 275x10, 275x8, 315x6 (next week will start with deads at beginning and therefore it will be heavier)


Calf work:

Seat calf raises superset w/ donkey calf raises

Seated calf raises: 2 platesx20, 2px20, 2px18, 2px16
donkley calf raises: 80x15, 80x15, 80x15, 80x12

Really focus on stretch and contraction on calves



Other things about today. I was doused in sweat. I mean I usually sweat but nothing like today. It got to the point where it was almost distracting, with sweat rolling down into my eyes and such. My shirt and hat were soaked by the end which is never the case. But regardless of the sweat I had great endurance throughout my workout. Right now it doesn't even feel if I lifted a single weight.

Ok leg day is now in the books. I kind of made the mistake of not giving my breakfast enough time to digest before driving to the gym (45 mins digest time before shock therapy was consumed). It made for a very interesting workout lol, but I kept everything down thankfully.

My leg work is direct and to the point. Compound movements in high volume.

Here is how it went down:

Squats: 225x15, 315x10, 315x10, 365x8, 365x5, 315x8 (deep and low is the name of the game)

Leg Press: 12 plates x 10, 14 platesx10, 16 platesx 10, 18platesx 10, 20 plates x8

Leg extension: 210x12, 210x10, 210x8, 185x10, 185x10 (at this point was really feeling breakfast)

Stiff legged Deadlift: 135x10, 135x10, 135x10, 135x8 (I go light here to really get the stretch)

Laying hamstring Curls: 120x10, 120x10, 135x10, 135x10, 150x8

Standning 1 legged leg curls (per leg): 40x10, 50x10, 60x10, 70x8



Ab work (this is a circuit):

Swiss ball crunch w/25 pound weight for 15 reps
swissball crossover crunch for 20 reps
laying leg raise for 10 reps
Body weight plank hold for 30 secs

4 circuits total only 30 secs rest between circuits.....this shit burns fo sho

The sweating profusley continued during todays workout. Was wiping sweat off my brow between every set it seems like and shirt was again soaked. Also quads are now starting to cramp up a bit so time to chug water.

I didn't check my weight. I usually check my weight mondays and fridays.

ya i think legs are probably the most important muscle group to work in correlation with X.

Of course I could get into details but that may give away some of the ingredients hehe. :)

One thing I have noticed is that I have been getting sleepy about 2 hours after my workout. Has happened everyday since I have been on X. Maybe about 20 mns ago I just woke up from a 3 hour nap.

Had to get some food pronto when I woke. And for some reason I just ate and I am still hungry LOL.

Guess time to make some more food.

yeah I found I've been tired after the workouts with X too, I thought it was just because I was on vacation and have nothing to do other than go to the gym for long extensive hours and eat like a rabid cannibal.

Mood today was good when I woke up. I slept like a rock last night even with a thunder storm going on and my dog whining and panting at the foot of my bed.

Woke up today and felt sore in my legs but not too bad. Nothing a little stretching can take care of. Soreness in my back and chest are now non existant which was nice.

Today was shoulder day. I always like when wednesday is done because shoulders and arms finish out the week and they are smaller muscles so its a bit better tiring wise. Shoulders are my identified weak point because my shoulders are not flexible by any means and give those snap crackles and pops on lifts.

Shoulder routine today:

Shoulder Press: 135x10, 135x10, 175x8, 185x6, 205x4, 135x10, 135x8

Side lateral dumbbell raises: 25x10, 25x10, 30x10, 30x10

Rear delt Machine: 140x10, 160x10, 160x10, 160x9

Hammer strength shoulder press: 1 plate per side x12, 1p+25 per side x10, 2p per sidex8, 2p per sidex8

Barbell Shrugs: 225x10, 275x10, 315x10, 315x10, 365x8, 315x7


calf work:

10 sets of 10 reps @ 515 lbs with 20 secs rest between sets (this is easy for the first couple of sets but by the time you get to set 8 it kills)

I would have gone heavier on shoulder press however the shoulder presses are 2nd floor on the opposite side of the gym from the cardio machines. Ergo.....nigh impossible to get a spot so there is that mental block.

So i decided to wheel it down at the end and go for a good pump with lighter weight at higher reps.

Arm day. Weighed in at 217 today. Thats a 2 lbs increase in a week with nothing changing in my diet except for X.

My arms are weak in contrast that it doesn't take much to burn them out. So I do some high reps at low weight with some high weight at low reps. But I go super strict form. For some Reason nothing seems to pisses me off more is when someone grabs something way over their weight andswings it upwards pretending to be a curl.

Here is how it went:

ez-bar curl: 70x20, 70x20, 80x10, 80x8, 100x6, 100x5 (got a nasty pump by the end of the second set)

Seated Hammer Curls-30x8 each arm, 30x8 each arm, 35x8each arm, 35x8 each arm

1 arm preacher curl: 25x10 each arm, 25x10 each arm, 25x10 each arm, 25x8 each arm

Tricep pushdown: 60x15, 80x12, 80x12, 100x10, 100x8

Skull Crushers: 80x15, 80x15, 80x15, 80x12

1 arm over head extension: 15x15, 15x15, 15x15, 15x15 (each arm)

Body weight dips: 4 sets of 15


Ab work:

Duo ab machine: 5 sets of 25 with 30 seconds rest set at 100 lbs



Got an amazing pump this workout. Arms were swollen rocks lol. It was hard to move them at full ROM after the respective body parts first exercise.

Great workouts. Solid numbers throughout. I understand the soreness, my legs are finally moving normally after my TUESDAY workout. My shoulders and expecially my triceps are still sore as hell from friday.

Woke up a bit late this morning, damn snooze button is too close to the off button.

Its monday and had myself a nice relaxing weekend. Hit chest today. Weighed in at 218.


Bench Press: 135x15, 225x12, 225x10, 275x8, 275x7, 315x3, 225x10, 225x8

Incline: 135x12, 185x10, 225x8, 225x7, 225x5, 135x10, 135x10

Flat bench flyes: 40x15, 50x12, 55x10, 60x8, 60x6

Incline Flyes: 35x12, 40x10, 40x10, 45x8

Hammer strength machine: 140x10, 140x10, 140x8, 140x5



AB work: could not get to it because ran out of time today due to oversleeping. Will be doing abs when I get home from work however, I have a swiss ball at home.



Went really high volume on the major lifts today as you can see. All lifts felt more crisp and powerful compared to last week even though I didn't hit as many reps on the top weight on bench (probably because I did many more sets before that, and rushed between sets because of time constraints). Got a wicked nasty pump that as I write this its still there.

Lat pulldown w/ seated rows:

Seated Rows: 130x10, 150x10, 160x10, 170x7, 190x6

Goodmornings w/ 1 arm row

Goodmornings(pussy pad included..shit hurts my neck :P): 225x10, 225x10, 225x10

My lifts definitely feel more powerful. Havent really tested anything out on a max yet just because I do have time constraints that I need to abide by with work and all. So therefore I need to make sure I get all my work in and not dick around with max lifts, because that can be time consuming.

Leg day:

Squats: 225x15, 315x10, 315x10, 365x8, 405x6, 315x10 (was going for rep 7 on 405 and the bar was starting to roll down my back making me lose form. This is by far the best squat day I have had yet to date. It felt powerful and 315 seemed like feather weight)

1 legged leg press: 6 plates total x 10, 8 plates total x 10, 10 plates total x 10, 10 plates total x8, 10 plates total x 7 (never really did this 1 legged but def got a better stretch and I was lazy loading up all those plates for 2 legged ones)

Stiff Legged Dead Lift: 4 sets of 135 x 10 reps

Leg extension superset w/ seated leg curl:

extension: 210 x 10 5 sets
curl: 160x10, 5 sets


Laying leg curl: 135x12, 135x10, 150x8, 150x8

Standing Leg curl: 60x10 for 4 sets




Ab work: Crunches (elevated feet) superset w/ leg raises

Crunches: 5 sets of 20
leg raises: 5 sets of 10

Zero rest time inbetween all sets

Wasn't feeling so hot on thursday. Think it was something I ate. So I decided to take thursday off and make up arms on Saturday. So this week its 3 days on , 1 day off, 2 days on, 1 day off.

Thursday I probably slept for 12 hours out of the day, so plenty of time for muscles to repair and grow, especially with how sore my legs were.

Ok to start off I would like to say my stomach was and still is kind of feeling funky from yesterday. I almost did not go in to workout today. But I am sooooooooo glad I did. This was shoulder day and OH MY FUCKING GOD. PRs were every where. Almost every lift I did today had some PR or another in it. Not to mention the pump I got was absolutely insane.

Yesterday my diet definitely suffered with feeling like crap. I was a little dehydrated today as well because of it, prolly cause of a bout of diherea yesterday. When I weighed in today I was standing at 219 even with my dehydration.

Here is how shoulder day went.


Shoulder Press: 135x12, 175x10, 185x8 (this is where I am like WTF lets keep going up) 205x8, 225x6 (unspotted and 3 reps higher then my previous best, PR for sure), 135x10, 135x10

Lateral Raises: 25x15, 30x12, 40x10, 45x8 (PR on this, usually end it at 35lbs)

Reverse delt machine: Full stack of 220 x 10 for 4 sets. Usually do 180 at 10 reps and struggle by the end. Again PR on the weight

Dumbbell Shoulder press: 60x10, 70x8, 70x8, 70x7 (All 70 lbs are PRs, usually struggle with 65 lbs but I just kept pressing and hard)

Dumbbell shrugs: 150x10 for 5 sets (again another round of PRs imo, usually grab 120s and get burnt by the 2nd set but again just kept going at higher weight)


Ab work:

weighted swiss ball crunches w/ 25 lbs: 5 sets of 25 20 seconds rest


Also today I noticed I wasnt getting those little pops in my shoulder. Every lift I did felt clean, crisp and powerful as you can see.

Weighed in today at 219. Take note I took the biggest poop ever right before weighing in so that adjusts the weight somewhat :P.


Anyways chest day


Bench press: 135x15, 225x12, 245x10, 275x8, 315x5, 225x14

Incline: 135x12, 185x10, 225x8, 245x7, 245x5, 135x12

Cable crossover: 4 sets of 12 reps at 75 lbs

Incline fly: 4 sets of 10 reps using 40 lbs dumbbells

Dumbbell bench: 3 sets of 10 at 80 lbs dumbells


would have liked to do more but with school starting today my schedule gets compounded



ab work: 4 circiuts of:

15 roman chair sit ups
10 hanging leg raises
10 side bends with 50 lbs dumbbell (each side)

5 pounds considering last week my diet suffered a couple days due to some bad food a couple days previous...and the massive turd I took before weighing in. I think literally 2 pounds ended up in the toilet.

Even was told today by a regular at my gym saying "you are getting big as hell"


After this round of X its cutting time...damn its gonna suck but 190 or bust imo

Couldn't enter a entry yesterday, was severly busy.

Anyways yesterday I did do Back. Can't remember all the weight but 2 numbers stick out like a sore thumb because they are PRs.

1st: deadlift went as heavy as I could yesterday. I decided to attempt 495. Not only pulled it once but dropped it down and pulled it again for a 2nd rep.

2nd: Bent over row. 245x4 times. Previous best was 225x5. Needless to say I had an awesome day of pulling.



Today to follow up my workout I went hardcore mode and did G diesels wheels of steel. Did it verbatim (except some of the calf sets because by the 3rd sets your struggling :P). Amazing workout, legs were shaking (was on the verge of vomitting however after the leg/hacks super sets cause I went heavy as possible). Thought I would throw this workout in there as my last leg day on X for a good ole shocking.

OK my X testing has wrapped up as of yesterday. Been extremely busy so i didnt have time to report my last 2 workouts but needless to say they did indeed rock.

Weigh in today, 220!!!! Thats 6 pounds in 3 weeks hoohah!!


My experience with X:

First lets say this has been one of the bvest stretches I have had in terms of workouts. The results from X are definitely clear. I have more fullness in my muscles especially my back, traps and tri's. I have improved vascularity on the front side of my arms namely my biceps and iside on my elbows and forearms. Strength has Improved pretty solidly. All movements felt and today they still felt very crisp and very powerful. Focus during my workouts increased ten fold. And as you can see i gained 6 lbs at the tail end of my bulk where I thought I had hit dimishing returns on gains. Also by week 3 I felt like I was 16 again and my errr ummm sex drive was all over the place especially at the worst times possible......like in middle of class :P

But with the good there is always the bad so I do have to be unbiased as I said in my entry post. On X when it wasn't workout time specifically after my workout I felt very drained and very tired. Almost like a crash. Also first week or so I did have problems sleeping even though nothing else had changed in my diet. I would toss and turn for a good hour and felt really warm to the point i would sometimes have to put a cold damp wash cloth on the back of my neck just to cool down (which worked wonderfully might I add). Also About the start of week 3 I noticed I was starting to get a touch of acne on my shoulders. Nothing serious, just small little bumps. Just put some salisylic acid on them and they slowly went away. Thats about it for the bad stuff however.



Now the most important question of my experience:


Will I take X again?

Hell ya I would. In a heart beat. After my cycle with X I am going directly into a cut (which started today and I am already regretting it :P). But when My cut is done in November/December my bulking starts again. X will be one of the FIRST things to get supplement wise bcause it clearly works and works very very well.

Ya however Im a bit broke at least till next week (damn credit card bill and $500 dollars worth of school books). But i want to pick up some Mstak stat to make sure I maintain my gains going into my cut.


Btw, the cut which started today and I am only allowing myself 100g of carbs a day for the first 2 weeks SUCKS ASS BADLY already. :(

One more thing which I forgot to include in my final review. I only took 1 measurement before I started X, My waist diameter.

After 3 weeks I went from a 34 inch waist to a....................34 inch waist.
