I just had this conversation with a fellow pro...
One of his clients was holding an enormous amount of water and had developed seriously bad kidney markers over time.
After a while of interrogating him it turns out he was only drinking 0.5l of water per day and eating no sodium whatsoever, thinking this would keep my drier. We are talking offseason here!
It´s unbelievable that there is still so much misinformation out there...
So was he drinking something else instead of water, or was he just trying to stay dry. As a nurse people tell me all the time they don’t drink water because they don’t like the “taste” of it. WTF water has no taste. So these people fill up on sugary drinks and come back week after week paying my house off.
This board for the most part provides us with a pretty good sense of how to approach training and diet sanely and effectively. With insights from our resident pros as well as most of our contributing members It covers a broad base of topics that are both relevant and essential. I for one, appreciate and value all of you guys and gals who I've come to know here. Thanks again!
I came to realize how important hydration was during my high school wrestling days. Suffice it to say the experience was nothing less than traumatic.LOL!! Some folks just need to learn the hard way.
