In the medical industry, they are divided over whether or not oats are even an allergen to people with celiac disease, the one's who need to be concerned about avenin consumption.
With all the time you spend on the internet looking up articles, I'm pretty sure you can find some meal plans that contain shit tons of oats... Meal plans by established bodybuilders who have much more a right to act like a know -it-all than you (yet for some reason, usually don't), but I wont do the work for you. While you're at it, find me several reliable sources demonstrating that avenin has caused statistically significant bloating, because I can't find any myself. Then when you have found all these sources, lets say 10, I will take them to the IRB at my university and see if they find sufficient grounds to grant our own study and see whether or not we can find out the real, actual, raw, truth, because you see, simply pulling up second hand research and then reguritating it on an internet forum as fact, especially when it has anything to do with the medical industry, cannot be constituted as fact, or "True".
So could oats cause bloating? Definitely possible, especially in a person with oat allergies, but it's unlikely to be an issue to people with normal digestion systems.
BTW, if you want you can fly out to Denver and shake my hand, cause I love oats, and I've eaten several cups a day with no problems.
