Believe it or not that drinking an excess water can make you feel more dehydrated than drinking slightly under what you need. I fell victim of this for years. You know how the more water you drink at times the more thirsty you get? That is because the excess water is flushing out electrolytes and you are dullinting your blood. That is why when you are OVER hydrated BUN and Cr might appear low and NA is lower end of normal. Backing off water intake a bit and increasing salt intake, supplementing magnesium (400mg), and eating a diet rich in K+ around 5000 per day will surly do the trick. I drink about 3 liters per day at most now and never have been so cramp free, headache free, and best pumps in years.
