The fitting of the gear is paramount, so it is my belief that there is no good way to begin practicing at this point while simultaneously trying to lose that much weight. People that will regularly cut that much weight over a training cycle preparing for a meet will have several different sizes of gear to compensate. Also, having the experience to know how a particular piece will work with you at a particular weight is kind of important.
At this point, if you want to proceed with lifting equipped at this meet, I would wear loose gear and get accustomed to the different leverages you will use. This will sacrifice a lot of the carryover you can get out of the gear and not get you the best impression of how to use it, but I think it is about the best option you have at this point.
After the meet, get some tighter gear at your competition weight (assuming you are going to continue competing there) and then start working with someone that already has some experience in its use.
Beyond that, quick advice would be to use boards to work your way down in the shirt, straps down for most of your squats and straps up for most of your deadlifts in the gear. Hold your breath in your belly and not your chest otherwise your eyes will explode out of your head.
