I would focus on finding CABLE movements that allow you a pain free way to work the surrounding muscle groups without engaging the injured area. I personally stayed away from BB and DB exercises until I got clearance. Bean makes a good point regarding the use of machines. Use extreme caution in either case.

Well I have clearance on DB for 10lbs... lol. I’m not doing anything for shoulders other than the PT exercises. There’s really not any that don’t hurt so I’m just not messing with them. Same with chest. Cable flyes are about the only thing that I can do pain free. Goal is definitely recovery. Suppose to hit a deployment very soon overseas so I want to be healed in time to go.
