last full meet - 148's 385/264/462. gym lifts 400/275/485. back pblms ended my sq/dl carreer, now i just bench. miss dearly those heavy 1/4 squats & even heavier 1/4 dl lockouts. 1000 lb bar wrapped around your shoulders or having it in your hands is something every lifter should feel just once. rem when 765 in the dl lockout was a warmup- i could walk up to my moms buick skylark & grab it behind the right rear tire & pick up both passenger side tires off the ground like it was nothing. (still cant figure out what happened to my lower back...) so now i just train for size...
no idea--u know hes a hermit...if he is trainin as hard as he is gamin he got to be he-uge!
LMFAO!!!! Oh.My.God. That just brought a tear I'm laughin so hard. No doubt, I cant wait 'till the classic lol. He's gonna go into withdrawls... 495 though damn, I gotta get my damn game face on
Hey I'm 19 I started about 2 years ago at Joes Gym in Erie, PA. I've always been small so I got sick of it and started training hard. Now it's my life. I was weighing about 130 when I started and now I'm about 190. The owner Joe Orengia trained me in powerlifting and that's what I've been doing ever since I love it. I never competed because my parents wouldn't let me for some retarded ass reason but heres some of my gym lifts.
Deadlift: 425 x 13
Bench: 275 x 1
Squat: 325 x 13
Never really tried to see what I could pull for 1 rep so I'm not sure, but now that I live on my own I'm gonna start competing. I'd like to try to break some records. Hopefully I can get some tips from everyone to help me win. later

Yeah, I hear ya... I have to use them when I do weighted pullups cause the bar is slick as balls and I cant hold on to the damn thing.
Ive never used straps, evr.Honestly i dont even know how....
And yeah,i do that kinda of reps when im bored,or just really need to get the pump.
Btw,ive only used a belt 2-3 times my entire life.I pulled the high reps raw as well.Belt was used when i originally pulled 500,and with 525
Never fear competition. Welcome it, embrace it, destroy it.

C'mon Meat, a big freak like you should know this. That is standard issue powerlifting style... Chuck Taylors are the sign of the true powerlifter, I guess that is why I don't have any. Haha. Peace, G
