Well my brothers and sisters here I go again. My second season back after a lengthy hiatus and this year I journey into a place I have never been before; the national stage!! As I sit here eating a bowl of tilapia, yam and green beans (one of countless yet to come) I am contiplating my motivations or maybe...my fears. I am very greatful to have made it this far but the fire in my iron soul is raging hotter and more intense than every before. What is motivating me this year? What is my fear?...
Is it that battle within myself to be the absolute best that I can be? Is it Vinny looking big as a house at the Arnold? Maybe that 0 carb shit really is the way to go!! Maybe BigAnt really is going to do the Masters Nat's and is just holding out?! Or maybe it's the countless other freaks that I have yet to meet that will step on stage in Pittsburgh in the best shape of their lives on July 18, 2008!! Whatever it is it has got to push me like I've never been pushed before! I gotta get my freakin ass out of bed!!!!

I start my prep at 245 and not too sloppy. A big thanks to Universal and the BigAnt drink, which made for a great rebound and off-season. I feel a step ahead of my condition this time last year. Another big thanks to my mentor and long time friend Greg Long and my cousin Tim whose guidence once again will make the difference. Goal: 205 - 210. About 8+ pounds heavier than last year.

Food - Cut all junk/cheats. Protein 350 - 400 (chicken, turkey, fish, gnd beef), Carbs 500 -800 (oats, yams, rice, RG), Fats 50 - 75 (nuts, avacado, flax), Water 1 gal.
7am - Meal 1: 12 EW's & 1 cup oats w/ 2 Equal, coffee
9am: Pre WO: 1 scp Shock & 1 tbs EAA
9:30am: Train - BigAnt drink
11am: Post WO: 3 scps Torrent & 1 tbs BCAA
12:30 - Meal 2: 8 oz chicken, 10 oz basmati rice & green beans
3pm - Meal 3: 4 scps Real Gains in water
5:30 - Meal 4: 8 oz tilapia, 4 oz yam & green beans
8pm - Meal 5: 8 oz ground beef, 4 oz yam, green beans
10pm - Meal 6: 4 scps Real Gains
Will cut Real Gains and begin to cycle carbs at week 16. Replacing RG with lower cal/carb powder.

Cardio 5:30am: 30 min treadmill at 3.5 on an empty stomach
