You know me well enough to know, I'm no quitter...lol :-)
Finally getting my head wrapped around my training again. After the disc issue in November, I was very scared (because there's no possible way that I can squeeze ANOTHER surgery into my life) and intimidated because it was ONE rep and I hadn't experienced THAT pain before. I knew I was DONE. I went through A LOT of emotional/mental stuff. More or less, I was so upset that I had to stop again.
It took me out of the gym for 26 days (and broke a toe or 3 in the meantime... Lol) BUT I finally got back in and humbly started over.
I finally got up the nerve to do some box squats (or more or less, when my butt hits the bench I'm up) last night and felt good. My weights have come back to where I was and I've adjusted some movements. Bench is still a little down (because I can't arch my back as much as I'm used to) but I'm okay with that...
That's been my gym stuff since January. Day by day, I'm getting there... ;-)
