I'm Will from Huntsville, AL, 25 years old (almost), 6'3" 235lbs. I've been lifting for about 6 years, seriously for about 2-3. At 18 years old I was 6'3" 185ish. Before Xmas break I was at almost 250lbs around 17% bodyfat. Gained about 25lbs over the last year. I've really been sucessful packing it on it seems.
I'm in a cutting phase right now, down to around 235lbs from the New Years 250lbs. My goal was 225, but I am going to lower that to around 215 I think.
I've been doing a mostly powerlifting/strongman type workout for the last 2 or 3 months. So switching over to a Bodybuilding workout is a nice change for me. A BB type workout is what I am most familiar with. The change was simply to pack on strength and mass....it worked.
The stats:
AGE: 21
LOCATION: Grand Valley State University
WEIGHT: 125lbs <--- Get bigger!
What's there to know about me? Well for one, it's the new year 2007, and i'm pissed. The reason is simple, I worked my butt off over the summer but being a college student, money ain't easy to come buy and schedules are crazy. I woke up sometime over holiday break just plain pissed because I'd realized I'd let my hard earned gains get away from me over the past semester.
What's important? That starting today I'm taking that back. First day of the winter semester. I'm taking my body back and making it the temple it should be. Each day I should be bigger than the day before.
Mass gains will be the name of the game for me this year, and i'm going to be telling you guys how it's going, and i'm going to be looking to everyone here to help me out.
I can relate to everything you just said. Sounds like you got a good head on your shoulders though, so you should do fine. Good luck to you in the gym and in the classroom, and keep us updated with your progress. Freakshow
My name is Kevin Beck. I am 224 (around 30% bodyfat) and 19 years old from Florida. I have had a stutter since I was about 7 that really sucks. I think that I started bodybuilding because I lacked in the talking department and I was always really fat and made fun of. So I decided to get in shape, and lost about 60 pounds from working out and cardio. This wasn't bodybuilding though. I started losing weight to impress my future girlfriend. After I had my girlfriend it evolved into the monster called bodybuilding. I didn't want to be thin anymore, I wanted to get big and have subcutaneous veins. Well I got the big part down. For the past couple years bodybuilding has been my 24/7, it's all I think about. What I'm going to eat tomorrow, exactly down to the gram. What I'm going to lift and how I'm going to grow the next day. Other than that I hang out with my girlfriend, play the guitar, go to college, go to work, and occasionally play computer games.

I'm not a scientist. Nor am I a leading expert on toothpaste though I find the thought strangely appealing.

Hi,
I live in Southern New England and have been seriously training for the last 2 years. Have been an Animal follower since I started.
My main goals are extreme functional strength and maximal size, while staying natural.
I am a follower of the likes of Mike Mentzer, Stuart McRoberts, Randall Strossen, Jon Pall Sigmarsson (and all the other strongmen), and have immense respect for all strength athletes (BBers, Powerlifters, Strongmen) who put their heart and soul into the sport.
I am also very impressed by the way Animal is handling this forum (being a strong Second Amendment supporter and an avid firearms enthusiast, I am used to some scrutiny in forum registration and strict forum behavior rules on those forums).
Looking forward to learning a lot from everyone here, and sharing whatever little I have learned so far.
Thanks,
axp817
p.s. Kellen, Good to see someone from my neck of the woods.
