I recently made a trip through the Rocky Mountains. Those massive mounds of Mother Earth are just as awe inspiring as I expected them to be. I traveled amongst the mighty peaks first in the dark of night, and then again in the light of day. In the dark, there is no explanation, visually speaking, for the intimidation you feel. you can't see a damn thing except what's in range of your headlights, but you know the mountains are out there, and you feel their presence. In the daylight, though, you see every jagged peak, every line chisled by a few million years of hammering by the dynamic duo of Mother Nature and Father Time. Together, the two are relentless and capable of both building such impressive towers of stone, and reducing them to rubble in the same amount of time.
I'm going to employ a dynamic duo of my own to produce similar results with my physique. I've spent the last two years building my tower of stone from the ground up, and now it's time for me to use hard work and dedication to transform the tower from the top down. I see myself as those chisled mountains, hidden by the dark of night or a dense fog. My aim is to clear the fog, work my way through it, and reveal the stone structure beneath. Lines will be carved, jagged peaks unveiled. It will take months of tireless hammering, but I am up for the challenge.

I will be following as "natural" a diet as possible, trying to eliminate as many chemicals and toxins from my body as I can. I don't have easy access to organic forms of everything, but I'll do the best I can.
Training will still revolve around the iron, but cardio will play a strong supporting role. I always go hard, using mostly tried and true compound movements, but I'm stepping out of my comfort zone this time with some unconventional movements. My body will soon be a temple, built from a rough pile of rocks...join me on this stage of my journey.
