Caught that damn flu bug, been out since last Thursday.. so below is Thursdays "brief" session, followed up
of course by the w/o notes.. Finally feeling better, but just in time for my 1st dental implant appt. (tomorrow,
Monday the 21st, fun-n-games!!.. Not sure if i'll be hit'n any kinda' Chest or Tri's work, i'll have a 4 hour
window from the time I get home from work til' the appt., so we'll see, but my guess is more than likely I won't
be back at it til' Wednesday (Cardio), gotta be 100% healthy before going back into attack mode, and I seriously
doubt any Wheels are gonna come about on Tuesday as more than likely i'll be jacked on percocets from the dentist!

Because of the flip-flop -w- Cardio & Wheels, I really wasn't down with the idea of doing BACK the day after
killin' Wheels.. hence the "just bi's" w/o for today.. plus, i'm not feeling too well, think I may have caught
that dang flu bug from work.. we'll see how the next few days go (*added today Sunday*: knocked me the hell out
the past few days, finally got the chills shook, nada in the sinus dept, all that's really left is a little chest
congestion, should be good by Wednesday to get the cardio in, then back to buisness on Thursday!! oooooooo, I
can't wait!!.. mf'ers just gotta learn to stay home when they get sick, and not bring it to work .. just sayin'!

Chose btwn. doing NSS's with 225 or regular squats with 315.. considering it's my first day back doing
WHEELS since I got sick, figured I'd better roll on the safe side.. there's plenty of time for the 315,
namely til' Tuesday.. LoL.. good w/o today, a little tight, but not bad.. we'll see how it goes Tuesday.
Not too overly amused right now, but we'll see how it goes.. got to 6 -w- the 315 and felt a slight pinch
behind my left knee.. not sure if it was how tight I had the wrap or what, all I know is when I was wrap'n
up I felt something "move" when I reefed down on the wrap on the final pull through, thought it was the
wrap adjusting or something, coulda' been my knee instead, hmmmmm, anyways, hit 6 felt it slightly, pushed
on through 7 thinking it might be just some kinda light strain, felt it again, decided to do one more to
make an even 8 just to see if my intuition was correct, and it was, racked it, called it a day! no sense in
f'n things up even moreso.. went in the house, tested the squat motion holding onto the doorknob, got about
1/4 of the way down and felt the pinch again, but lighter of course, IBU'd it up, iced it up, called it good
for the day.. In fact, already feeling better.. but still, gotta be careful , be back to it on Saturday if
all goes well the next couple days.. no worries!
LoL.. not gonna eeeeeven get into what happened btwn. CHEST & TRI's.. all i'll say is it was not my intention
to do TRI's right after CHEST, but it just ended up happening, oh, and I locked myself outta the house with
the chicky still 3 hours til' she got home, and that's all i'm sayin'.. wadda f'n day!.. I know one thing,
no one, and I do mean no one can get into my house! LoL.. and that's really all i'm sayin' on the matter.

Not a good day today at work.. while jacked on IBU's early, which made walking possible from A-B, ANY type of
moving up or down was not goin' on, like stepping up into and down from my work truck, walking up and down any
flights of stairs with my handtruck was excrutiating.. so I get home today and do nothing but lay down all day
long, ice, heat, ice, heat, ice, heat, etc.. finally got around to get'n up to come over here to the keyboard to
jot down a few notes.. This really sucks though.. Went out and got a neo-sleeve for the knee just to give me a
little added support and warmth for work tomorrow.. tried it on at sports authority and it imediately felt better,
well at least it felt good enough to walk around on without feeling like my knee was gonna collapse, which happened
about 3 or 4 times today, in fact 2 times it felt like my lower inner quad (teardrop) felt like it was gonna
detach from my knee joint.. yikes!! So we'll see how tomorrow goes at work, i'm crossing my fingers with the knee
wrap, if it wasn't solid I wouldn't have bought it, but this laying around is KILLIN' ME!! Well speaking of which,
think i'm gonna go grab a shower, and then back to the ice, heat, ice, heat, etc.. F'an'A!

Ok, so while DELTS went well, I was more than happy with being able to not just being content with taking the 315
out of the rack, but actually going through the motions of the reps, and while they weren't quite to parallel, it was
still huge to be able to have the confidence that NOTHING was going to deter me .. no rear-view mirror, just lookin'
out the windshield!.. Understand, the tweak went down 72 hours ago, that was only 3 days ago, and how I went from
being able to barely walk up and down a set of stairs to now sprinting up and down the stairs and being able to do
partials with 315 already is a total testament to being able to convince yourself that if you want something bad enough
you can get it if you just condition your way of thinking in a positive direction.. yeah, it was a good day!
Ok then, solid BACK day, but I just haaaad to test out the wheels.. the ice/heat combo combined with the neo-sleeve
for support and warmth, the past couple days has speeded up the healing process to the point where I have zero doubts
about giving a shot at testing out the knee joint.. so I start off with a light set of LX's with 100lbs, got 10 easily, so after
a couple more sets of back I decide to up the ante and give 15 a shot, again, no problem.. so a few more sets of back &
I get the urge to shoot for 21, again, no problem.. hmmmmm, ok, so i'm wrapping up back and decided to go through the
motion of squats -w- just the bar, broke off 10 to parallel, super-slow so I could feel everything, no problem.. so it then
becomes time to call it a day, and just as i'm about to put the bar up and close down The BoX for the night, I decide F' it,
threw a wheel on each side and was gonna go for 10 if it felt good, got to 10 n/p.. 15, n/p, onto 21!! yup, n/p there either..
Talk about a speedy recovery, how i'll never know.. only thing I can think of is the ice/heat combo, this neo-sleeve that I
picked up, high amounts of protein mixed with micro-glutamine and GABA.. we'll see how it feels tomorrow (Friday), but, I
gotta say, so far so good, the strength in the knee is coming back a LOT faster than I anticapated, but we'll see!

So I decided to give the wheels a break today and not push my luck too far.. figured btwn. Thursday and Friday
they had more than enough of a "testing" period.. still a bit tender when I go up steps, probably around 90+ % or
so, hell i'd give it a 95 but I gotta be honest (for referencing).. and even though I got the 315 yesterday i'm still
not gonna give it the full on green light.. so instead, with it being 54 out today, it was TIME TO BBQ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah kids back East that are bein' shit on with the bad weather.. blue skies, sunshine and a big 5 4 out today, just
had to break out the grill and make my neighbors mouths water a bit.. Johnsonville brats (and btw, what the hell

really wanna feel again, so we'll see how it goes.. kinda' wondering if I wrap almost tightly sometimes..
The thought crossed my mind the other day when I was goin' over what went wrong last Tuesday, stretched as
normal, warmed up as normal.. dunno, maybe bad foot placement.. whatever the case, it was enough to irk me

Squats were at 75% to parallel, one notch lower with the safety bars in the rack, than when I was "testing"
the strength last Thursday & Friday.
Sets went as follows-
1). @ 135: cake, could've gone to parallel, but held back intentionally.
2). @ 225: Felt good, probably the same as above, slightly favored the right (un-injured) side.
3). @ 275: same as with 135
No wraps or belt -w- 135/ no wraps -w- 225/ no wraps -w- 275
Went only to 275 on purpose.. figured since I need to get back to where I was with depth (parallel) that I need
to be very careful about how much weight I use.. While I did hit 315 this past Friday, at the same time the depth
wasn't where it should've been (at about 50% to parallel), so now's the time to regain that depth slowly.. I DO
NOT want to feel that pain again! & there's no sense in going overboard too soon.. so for now, so far so good.
& ftr, as of right now, zero pain and a solid workout, it felt good.. that is all.
